I think it's very gracious and wonderful that Sweden air's the Royal Reception. The people know that they probably have private celebrations but it is such an honor to be able to watch the festivities. The people much appreciate being included in a day they help pay for in some way. Really beautiful

I was suprised when King Carl mentioned that Princess Victoria would be his successor. I figured that Prince Carl Philip would get that job. I'm happy for her that her father has the confidence in her to ashame such a important role in life.

@20031200 just fyi, it's not up to him - he does not choose who follows. there are laws, and when prince carl philip was a baby, sweden changed theirs. now, the order of succession is based on birth order alone, regardless of gender.

Great subtiles! Thanks so much! yeah the rose was so sweet! I'd love to have Queen Silvia as my mother-in-law! the whole royal family seems so nice and beautiful! I loved the way they let take the public have a look and also that the wedding was on the King and Queen's wedding anniversary and Victoria wore the same Tiara like Silvia at her wedding. Was it the same dress, too!? Love to Sweden :)
