  • This is full grown wild mink? Y not get baby mink? Taming would be much easier.

  • People who keep wild animals as pets are the worst. It should be illegal and someday it will be. Live a short miserable life asshole.

  • My mink actually died a while ago. She caught botulism from a duck . It was really sad!

  • how is your mink doing now ?

  • nope, I don't breed mink. I just keep them as pets

  • Glad you're a fan of these awesome creatures. They're frowned on in UK by fisherman, farmers, even conservationists who worry about rivalry to the native otter. I don't know if you've checked out polevv's YouTube videos? He's got some Russian sables which are great to watch too.

Thanks for a great insight into an animal thought by many to be

    untameable.

  • @Ferreterlad- Nope, I'm in the U.S.A.

  • you had a lot of guts keeping that thing so close to your face lol

  • I've had lots of experience with mink and haven't goten biten yet (meaning never very hard on bare skin), but I KNOW the day will come, and when that day comes I have my needle and thread ready to stitch up the bloody mess.

  • forgot food small bits of meat work woonders. ferrets are about the same and can be better tamed DOWN Not tame easier with rewards for good behavior.

  • Ya try giving food out of your hand to a wild animal who recently just got calm enough to eat in it's cage. I started using food a few days later when she calmed down enough to start taking it from me.

  • where did you get the mink? there are breeders that could sell you a pet breed mink ya know?

  • Fur farms breed mink, but they're not too friendly to strangers because of all the terrorist who go around turning all thier mink loose. If you can befriend one of them, and gain their trust, you can usualy buy one from them.

  • @josephdcarter I'm thinking it's totally irresponsible to "free" Mink farm critters...but calling them terrorists is just bizarre guy

  • lol my pet mink it olny took 1 day

  • but now that you tamed her she won't be able or know how to care for herself in the wild.

thats like saying cats and dogs should be in the wild..

  • She is back in the wild, so don't worry about it.

  • Mink should live in the wild :(

  • no they shouldnt we read on a web site and in the wild minks live um to 2 to 3 years if a person keeps one they live up to 10 years i ahve one and hes is the best pet EVER they better then cats or dogs there fun to watch
