The Camcorder is the Coby Snapp 3000CAM. List price is $39.95, but I saw it on Amazon for $29.95. It's pretty barebones, but it is amazing quality for the money. Even has a built in LED light for dark places. 32MB memory built in, but you'll want to use an SD card like I did.
Dickie, the Snapp 3000 is listed on Amazon for $34.76 plus $9 for shipping and it's sold by a company called Ace Photo that I never heard of. It was a bargain at $29 but doesn't sound so good for $45.
After some searching I found it for $30 from J&R with free shipping but it's not the one that first comes up when you search for the Snapp 3000 on Amazon.
If you look at all the products from Coby you can find it though.
Also, very nice to see your train, I always hear about it in the DGW podcast :)
I had a friend in Japan when I was a kid that had a collection of miniature trains. He was crazy about it and had different models of JR trains. I think his father was also into it, he always spoke about it with a lot of passion.
I would like to see it run in snow :)
Not that I doubt it, but . . . ..

Dick, this camera looks pretty decent for such a low price. Your train set is nice, too. Say "hi" to Leo for me.

Very cool, Dick!
As I kid, I always admired the kid next door who had a big train set.
In a couple eye-level shots -- especially of the Gizneyland Trolley -- it looks like an actual train.
Do you ever do a "Gomez Addams"...and put them on the same track? Umm, that would be a little too MAD! ^_^
Great camera.

You should show a wider shot of your backyard? I'm trying to picture what a backyard looks like in NYC.
