  • This is a video of all the different species of Draco Lizard. They live mostly in Borneo and surrounding Islands. The Glide from tree to tree with extendable rib flaps. They can glide for two hundred meters or more.

  • Its like a draco lizard, they dont fly they glide from tree to tree when there feel there in danger and they need a quick get away

  • Is that a dude or a chick

  • these animals have been known about for like what?a couple of tousands of years and they have been identified for a long time.

Its called a Draco Lizard and there are a whole range of diffrent species with diffrent size and color, as far as i know have very few people managed to keep em in captivity and they are REALLY NOT recomended as pets as they usually starv to death after suffering due to the lack of space for way to long.

Might be wrong but i think their diet is of only ants

  • its a damn Vietnamese Flying Dragon, i could see a hippe sayin lets blog it instead of google it man

  • Flying Lizards are real. They are many in Indonesia. They came from genus Draco. They are about 10-20 centimeters in length. their wingspan are about 10-15 cm as well. I am from indonesia and i found them everywhere in Indonesia, tough nowadays they maybe just can be found in forests

  • It's a dam flying dragon lizerd

  • @fishymusician

U r retarded to misspell lizard when its in the video name and description

  • you are very stupid!!!!!

  • Flying Dragon Lizard

  • This lizard was discovered by our Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal and it was named after him... Draco Rizali is the name and it can also be found here in the Philippines... I saw this king of lizard one time when I was still working in Zambales, Philippines....

  • My flying gecko is another lizard that also glides!

  • "Draco" is the latin word for dragon. Which is why they're named that.

  • draco lizard is the name on it

  • there is a video on here somewhere of it flying

  • Its a Dracovolans from S.E. Asia. They are very common and eat ants. They are capable of gliding long distances. By spreading thier ribes which are covered with a skin membrane that forms a wing. They are very small, and a member of the agamid family of lizards.

  • They are relatively common in forests and in urban settings such as parks and gardens. They are found in Southeast Asia: Malaysia, Singapore, Sumatra and Borneo(i had to post three comments beacause there was alot of info to cover about them.

  • camouflage against the tree trunks. The males have a yellow triangular flap of skin under the chin, the gular fold, which is used to communicate with other lizards, mostly for mating. Females have a much smaller and blue flap. They feed on small insects

  • The Common Gliding Lizard (Draco sumatranus) is a lizard with elongated ribs and skin flaps on the sides of its body. When opened, these skin flaps allow it to glide between tree trunks. It is primarily a tree dweller, except that the females come down to the forest floor to lay eggs. The body length is of about 9 cm, with a slightly longer tail. The body is of a dark grey/brown colouration with stripes and patterns to help it

  • all crackers are ignorant and incompetent

that explains everything happening these days

  • The species is Draco Volans.. cool huh?

  • is a Common Gliding Lizard

  • this is very interesting

  • in the 90's we even still have this "cleret gombel" in the city of Yogyakarta, Java. But nowadays they were vanished, probably we only can find em in rural area now.

  • its a broad winged draco, and its the ribs

  • miniature dragon they fly to tree to tree once they see a snake they fly away

  • That's idiotic...a HOAX? Seriously?....and no it does not look like a dragon. This is a Flying lizard, in the Draco genus. And it doesn't fly, it glides through the air by extending its membranes. Look it up in Wikipedia.

  • @jedihunter176 Um, i don't know if you're blind, but this looks EXACTLY like a dragon. And btw, ANYONE can edit Wikipedia, and most of the time Wikipedia is wrong. Seriously... We know that insects used to be GIGANTIC, and that nowadays lizards are much smaller than they used to be (a.k.a, miniature dinosaurs)... and we know that a dragon is a TYPE of dinosaur. So it's a lizard, it has two pairs of legs, wings coming out of its back... Just make it way bigger, and u have a dragon.

  • @spyrobsessed K...1: That was long ago.

2: Look at a picture of a dragon. Now look at this.

3: Wikipedia is neither right nor wrong. Its sources determine that. Wikipedia doesn't make things up, everything it writes is a compilation of various PUBLISHED and VERIFIED sources.

2: The wings aren't coming out of it's back. It's a modified ribcage. It is connected to a membrane, which upon extension, functions as a wing.

3: Make it way bigger, and you still have a big lizard with rib wings.

  • in the provinces of the philippines, they are dried up, grounded and used as medicine for asthma.

  • ITS A BABY DRAGON

  • Draco Volans. a.k.a Flying Draco. It is a common species of lizards in South East Asia and I have caught a lot. I live in Singapore and they are almost everywhere. They use their gliding techniques to escape from predetors. Very cool

  • tis a draco

  • This kind of lizard will soon be endangered here in Phils...very soon, they sell it very cheap as an asthma medicine and i fell very sorry for them..u should see the video "tamumokaw" their native name in phils."

  • its called a broad winged draco, the wings are actually ribs that have evolved to be able to rotate outward so that they can glide away from predators such as snakes. they also have a chin crest that can flip out and act as a rudder, a friend of mine owns one and im getting one as soon as i have enough space in my house lol. hope this helps :)
