5th time in a row listening ot this while studying. The opening theme is so cool, definitely going to add this to my collection.

Check out BWV 1062 as well. It's a transcription of the double violin concerto d molle BWV 1043 (?) for harpischord.

Every time I listen to this particular concerto, I'm astonished that it was created by a mortal man with fallible flesh and frail human bones. Surely its source is immortal and ageless? @TheAce747 According to Christoph Wolff, director of the Bach-Archiv in Leipzig, this concerto may have been an organ concerto from the outset, one of the organ concertos which Bach performed at the new organ at St. Sophia's in Dresden in 1725. "All other hypothetical 'original' instruments heretofore proposed for this work present serious problems; if the final movement, for example, is played by a tranverse flute or oboe, there is hardly a spot for taking a breath."
