Im doing what it tells me to do ,

i started Pre-jailbreak and then it tells me to restore it on itunes on custom firmware and i double clicked it then it loads.....

and then it tells me an error occured (20) why?

yo dude help me out. ive done everything you did in this video but once i get to the point where i put it in to DFU mode and then click prejailbreak. nothing happens, its supose to turn white the screen but nohtings happening.

Hello,

you will not be able to jailbreak it with this. If it is the new iPod touch 3G you will need to jailbreak with blackra1n for 3.1.2 - check my channel for the 3.1.2 jailbreak. Just to make sure that your iPod is on 3.1.2 go into your iPod's setting -> then general -> then about, then make sure that it says 3.1.2.

Okay, tethered means that you cannot slide for power off on your iPod, and if you do then you need to plug it into your computer and run blackra1n.

Untethered - you can turnoff

Pretty much the only side effects is it makes your ipod run slower, and I think takes more battery life. If something goes wrong you can just restore it, theres only like a 10% chance it will completly break.
