04 Mach 1 SLP exhaust

anybody on here put the cobra r wing on their Mach 1 ?  when i get my engine mods and suspension finished i want to trade the crap spoiler for something with function but doesn't make it look RICER.. i know i'm not the only one who hates feeling like my wheels are losing grip over 100 mph lol... was also thinking about the cobra r front bumper to... want the car to stick to the pavement.

Not really sure how it was done, i haven't looked a stock one real close to see the difference, i think the actual shaker itself is aftermarket and just has an extra inch of height.

my exhaust only works off the 03/04 cobra's because of the IRS coversion, any stock GT and Mach 1 would require the normal over the axle exhaust.

Thanks! the previous owner had done everything to the car aside from the full exhaust work i did and i added a JLT Ram Air Intake, but its a decal i'd love to have it painted instead but it matches the lines of the front Grill a lot better than the stock skinny stripe.

Why do you have an 03-04 cobra exhaust system on a mach 1?

The previous owner installed an 03/04 cobra IRS, so the exhaust has to be run under the gas tank and axle, instead of over the rear axle like the factory mach's.

yeah alot of people hate the IRS cause of the wheel hop, but as far as looks and how the exhaust has to be run, i think it gives it a much more aggresive look especially with some 10.5" rear wheels. mine are 10".

we've messed around on the highway and it pulls away from his cobra barely, its a close race, im about 4 weeks from saving enough to install kooks longtube headers and off road x, then another tune and it should be putting out around 330hp i hope, its tuned at 302 right now and i've heard over 30 hp gains from those headers, then im buyin the JLT Ram Air Intake and doing a finaly tune, my goal is 350 N/A and i think with pulleys, TB, and everything else i'll be close.

Your probably not going to like how loud the SLP's are with an off road midpipe. My 03 mach with mac prochamber o/r and slp LM1's you could hear for a couple miles away. Way Obnoxious! I went with magnapacs, its not nearly as crackly and open sounding. The neighbors can only hear me from 1 mile now.

haha yeah iknow my dads 98 cobra had off road bbk and slp 1's and it was rediculous so we went with bassani LT headers and catted SLP x and it sounded a 100 times better, im planning on buying kooks longtubes and catted x for this car at the end of the summer.. or whenever i can save the 2k dollars that it'll prob take for headers x pipe and installation lol. sound will pay off in the end though in my opinion.
