2008 started to collect basic car, 2009 i started to collect Hong Kong HotWheels Cars, at 2010 i started to collect hotwheels redlines, i have 6 un-opened ,7 opened , it is a good news for me ><

I don't know if this is rare, but I have an el camino, ornge with black flames, the words "extreme express" on the sides, and a cromed motor in the back. It's not in the box, I regret that. I've been told that it is a rare hot wheels car. I'm willing to sell it for $50.

I have 60,000 Hot Wheels cars, because I am a collector. My rarest car is '' Twin Mill'' from 1969. I like it it looks like a new but its 40 years old :)

Now thats a collection! I use to collect, but I quit when these greedy sons of bitches would buy up all the good items in the stores, and then you suddenly seen them selling those very cars at a local flea market! Take for example the Pikes Peak Celica. I noticed this old man I often see set up at a flea market up from my house buy up an ass load of the Pikes Peak when the 1st edition came out about 10 years ago. Next thing, he was selling em for 5 bucks each. I quit about 4 years ago over this!

I've been collecting Volkswagen toys for about 19-20 years now, and I've got alot of great Hot Wheels (and Matchbox) still in the packages and wrapped in the plastic case covers. It's a fun hobby, but it's also kinda cool wondering how much they'll be worth in say 15 or 20 years.

Depends on what it is man. Redlines, and stuff, set those aside, they are not toys anymore, collector's items. Same goes for 80s Real Riders, late 70s and mid 80s blackwalls. 1995-1997 Hunts included to some degree.
