  • We are sure that Phil will provide every person with new information and usable aids to achieving your driving goals.

  • Phil also uses his horses for work around the farm, trail riding, packing and hunting in the mountains.

Phil’s goal is to produce calm, relaxed, trusting and safe driving horses. Phil believes that a horse needs to learn to stand well before it starts to walk and walk well before it trots. He works to build a trust and respect relationship with his horses starting with good ground manners, consistent discipline and quality work.

  • Phil, a very successful driver, is well known in the CDE and Pleasure Driving shows and has won many honors with horses he has trained. Last October, he was honored to be invited to drive his Fjord pair in the ADS Driving Derby demonstration at the World Equestrian Games held in Lexington, Kentucky.

  • Phillip Odden and his wife Else live on a farm in NW Wisconsin. They are engaged in building traditional Norwegian furniture, wood carving as well as raising and training horses. Phils experience with horses started as a youngster on a Wisconsin dairy farm. He has since become very involved with Norwegian Fjord horses and has served as the chairman of the NFHR Evaluation committee.

  • Anyone wanting to see more of them.

  • This is awesome, and showcases the horses so nicely. I love the one hitched on the left (right when you are looking at the video)The music is superb, where did you get it? I am looking for some nice bouncy Norwegian music for riding my fjord in a dressage piece. Good job, lovely sleigh and team
