  • do u also straighten the short hair in the bottom or only the long hair at the top and side? cuz I recently cut my hair and I don't really know how to style it.

  • I just got this haircut after cutting 12 inches off my hair for a Locks of Love donation (my fourth one.) With such a dramatic change, styling has been a challenge. Your video helped me get the smooth style down and I am able to style it curly too. (I have red wavy hair naturally.) The look I can't get is the one with the straight, spiky kind of ends that look a bit edgy. I look like a scarecrow when I do it. Can you do a video of this styling technique or do have tips for me?

  • @misstoogood You will be amazed what wax can do to help create that look, BUT to achieve the look to the fullest you would have to have the edges texturized enough to create that look. Now the thing is when using wax is that it's heavy which you need but if you over do it, it may look very greasy so go easy and if more is needed then go for it.

  • I have this cut but mine is a little shorter in the back ... but i have curly hair and no matter how many diff types of product people tell me to use it doesnt give me that choppy look i want when i straighten it and after this long i have lots of diff products that i have had to give away cuz it doesnt give the effect that i want ... could u help?

  • @crystal24iris If you have thick and curly hair more then likely your gonna have to get the ends of your hair texturized more. If the ends are thick no product will help create that look. Once you get it texturized try using what you have, but a must is going to be a pomade/wax to help enhance the choppy look. (Alterna-Extreme wax is one of my Favs) If you have any other questions just ask ;-)

  • can you describe how your hair is cut. The angles and so fourth....

  • Your skin is lovely :)

  • When you started blow drying your hair, was it completely wet? Or was it a little dry because it looked like you already had some volume at your roots. Whenever I blow dry my hair I can never get the volume at the roots like you have! It's always flat and then poofy on the sides so it looks pretty weird :/ Also, how long did it take you to blow dry your hair? It usually takes me a pretty long time but I usually use a round brush and pin up different sections of my hair at a time. I need help!

  • @AisuAi01 It wasn't soaking wet which can help with drying time. I use a root volumizer by AG it sprays like a hairspray but comes out as a foam, there's also one by Alterna that is great as well. I spray it at the crown area only then use a blow drying cream at the ends. It usually takes 15min to dry but if it soaking wet 25min. Try drying it with your hands and getting most of the water out then use the clips and round brush to style it. If you have any other questions just ask :)

  • i love your hair! can you send me pictures of you hair pleasee,, front, side, back.. i wanna get my hair like yours :D

  • @chubbybunnyyummy send me your email address (privately)

  • @mrsmarisol1 bay.area408@yahoo.com can you send me some pics too

  • isnt it harmful to blow dry hair every day????/

  • @171angelica any heat isn't the best every day but sometime you just have to. Best thing to do it use a blow drying serum or creme to protect the hair as best as you can. Alterna has a great product called "styling tonic" it's a spray pump bottle which helps as a heat protectant, protects against extreme heat and cold (static), has SPF, helps keep style in the hair and it's light weight.

  • What's the first product you use?

    I know it's Mantra's but what is it,like a gel or what?

  • @imancookies It's called Transend by Mantra it's a blow drying serum to help reduce frizz.

  • @mrsmarisol1 Oh okay. But I tried using multiple types of products to reduce the frizz. It doesn't go away. -_-

My bob's a little longer than yours and the ends tend to get weird. :P

  • When u straightened ur hair u look the same as when u didnt straighten ur hair ...?????.

  • @MUSICLUVER1200 well technically I have straight hair. I use the flat iron to finish the look so the hair is not frizzy and so it adds shine :)

  • I have a bob like yours but its about 2 inches longer all around. My problem is that the front curls nicely like the way i want it to, but no matter what i do, the back is always straight or curls out a bit. No about of hair straightning, curling, or blowdrying will make it do what I want. Any suggestions?

    Great video by the way!

  • @lilpainter11 Try taking smaller sections and doing it slower. The back hair tends to be thicker, coarser, and harder to deal with so pin the hair up with a butterfly clip and do little section at a time. Also let your stylist know so next time you get a cut your stylist can texturize the ends so it will lay better.

  • For some reason I can't mssg. oohayeduarte@yahoo.com thanks a milli :)

  • I've gotten my hair cut twice trying to get it exactly like yours an each time I go its seems like it comes out even more f'd up!! I seen ur video an I just had to ask what should I tell the hairstylist so that she understand what I want! Please help! Lol thanks :)

  • You're sooooo gorgeous!! I love your hair! I'm thinking of growing mine out to donate then cutting it into a really cute bob like yourrs! Still not sure want I want to do though. =/

  • i love your cut! i have a bob now,and it's stacked.but i love yours! it seems like you have lots of texture! and thats what i want! i do have naturally curly hair though so i would request some more videos on how to scrunch your hair with the diffuser attachment!

  • the correct way to blowdry an angled bob is to take a round rush (size depends on the length of your haiir) then role you hair into the rush and take a blow dryer with one of those peices and the end ( like a hair dresses) and when you pull the brush folow with the brush with you blow dryer. this makes it get the bubbly look in the back

  • I love your hair style, looks great on you........your sooooooo pretty.

  • what products would you recommend for bob style hair ? x

  • Hi there, I really love your hairstyle is it possible to get a still / image of your hair so that I can take it to my stylist?

Would be really appreciated I have googled angled bobs and cant seem to find any styled as nicely as yours

  • NICE! I just got a bob last night and god it really is hard to take care of. I have to blow dry occasionally to keep its shape or I'll look like a kid with that cute little short hair, nothing like an angled bob. My hair isn't straight nor it is curly. Its wavy and very fine.

  • wow beautiful hair, and beautiful haircut, I'm actually getting my angled bob cut next weekend i'm super excited

  • do you think its a bad idea to get an angled bob if you have really curly hair?

  • It' a great idea....it's actually really cute curly but for some reason everyone wants to straighten their hair all the time. I have straight hair but I curl my hair and make it "big" at least once a week or so. So if your thinking about it go for it you'll love it afterwards =)

  • ok im nervous but ill do it.. i need a change! lol thanks

  • I do also have quite curly hair. It is a fight every single morning to get my hair straight and to let the bob look really good... but with the right straightener, the right shampoo and conditioner and the right hairspray - it becomes perfect every day!!! I love it!!! Do it... :-)

  • i did it! i got it cut today and its superr cute i love it.. thanks for the opnions guys!

  • @SdannadS

no i have curly hair and i have an angled bob. if you dont want it curly just straighten it thats what i do

  • yes amanda stacking it would thin it out a little bit, I have mine stacked. Before the lady cut it that way, it was super thick. But it might be a little harder to style when its stacked. =]

  • sweet! well i actually went to a hairshow in indiana and had my hair cut like i wanted it lol! i was going to be a model in the show but it was too late. the guy actually cut it after the show for me :) it was awesome!

  • i just cut my hair an angled bob last week but my problem is that the back at the bottom looks and feels to thick. do you think stacking it would thin it out?

  • It would but if you don't want it to be stacked they can use thinning shears, it reduces the bulk by 50% and would fix that problem. Hope that helps =)

  • thanx..my friend jenny fixed it last nite thinned it out and shortened the back and put in a few more layers so that it wasnt so thick. she did use thinning shears :) it looks a lot better. i love you hair! :)

  • Ok I have a question I noticed as you did your hair you mentioned that you had your hair cut to show you face how can one ask the stylist to create that effect because I don't like the heavy look in my face either?

  • I really luv your hair but do you think this is a look that someone with wavy hair can do? I would like to see the back of your hair maybe you can send me a picture is so please let me know so i can send you my email address. thanks

  • i super love your hair.. i have the same haircut but a little shorter at the back.. this vid really helped me..

  • If only my hair were naturally straight! Yes, I have this cut.. its a bit longer.. But I need some help in styling it when its curly.. Gel, and mousse and all that makes my hair hard and not really curly.. Any advice? =]

  • Yes!!!! try using a cream for curly hair and pay attention to the amount. or you can Re-try the mousse and use a little more towards the root for lift and hold and use a small amount of gel on your midshaft and ends to control the frizz. Don't over use the product and try diffusing the hair mainly at the root and just hit the ends quickly leave it 40% wet you can not try it all the way or it will be FRIZZY. Try it for a week to see if it can work for you.

  • shine spray??? that's straight up oil sheen and i love the way it smells also

  • lol.....yup same stuff

  • I had my hair cut like this about a year ago, but the last couple times I asked for it to be cut like this it didn't turn out very good. What should I ask the stylist for when I go in to get it cut? I know the last time the girl used scissors and that was a mistake...I will defiantly tell them to use a razor this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated lol. Thanks!

  • i love your hair.....

  • i just got a bob haircut 2 days ago and i've been drying my hair with with a round brush and doing my hiar like the stylist did but is their curly hairstyles for a bob as well? i have naturally curly hair.

  • Ohh yeah........I love to see that cut curly........What kind of styling product do you like to use? (Gel,mousee, spray gel, hairspray)

  • before i cut it i used to use conditioning curling cream or curling gel and blow dry it with a diffuser but i haven't tried it since i think my hair is to short. i need help! lol

  • lol...... you'll be fine you sound like you know how to take care of your hair as they say .....just do it!!! .....it'll be such a time saver. when it's dry you can take a curling iron and soften it around your face.

  • i love your hair style, i've had a bob cut for about 6 months now, but i don't really have much time to do anything to my hair, but i love your style and i would like to get my hair cut like yours. the only problem is that i have really thick hair, can you help me out? is the back layerd or not and should i just try and explain the hair cut to my stylist.

  • Thanks..If you want you can message me ur email address & I took some pics so if you show another stylist they would be able to see what makes the cut different from a regular bob. If you hair is thick your gonna tell your stylist to use the thinning shears on the back but using the point cutting technique as I did in my Bang video that's the real trick to this cut it blends the layers seamlessly so you don't end up with choppy steps in the back & you get a round shape that is so EASY to style.

  • Hi! I would love a couple photos of your hair cut as well if you can, I have an appointment with a hair stylist today. I messaged you my email. Thanks!

  • how do you describe to a hairstylist to get those different colors in your hair?

  • I used a flower type pattern so there's a circle of the dark color right where my part is and four wavy circles surrounding the circle slightly overlapping to blend them. The two opposite colors are the same colors so 3 colors in all. Way to much info I know.......lol....sorry....... Hope this helped =)

  • Erm....I have a little question..

Wat can you do to make a bob look more interesting??

Like what kind of accessories to use and stuff like dat...

  • Well it's hard cause you have to focus in the front and front sides. You can use headbands but it has to be the hard kind with no back. You can also use barrets or colored bobby pins to add some fun. It's pretty limited but possible ;)

  • we have the same style!!! well almost :D

  • cuuute hair. i have an angled bob too =] still getting used to styling it haha. i've always had long hair.

  • your haircut is so beautifull,i like it!!!

    also a cool video!!
