  • Laugh all you want, but it still won't make your penis normal size. XD

  • BAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!

  • @EricToTheScionti lmfao hahahaha... u wouldnt be alive!

  • Gymnastics is like a drug. When you fall it makes you addicted to make a come back and when you do it well you feel really good.

  • What happened to her? Like did she break anything?

  • @prettylittleliars65 she fractured her back and pulled a bunch of muscles, ended up in a brace for awhile but went back to training as soon as she could

  • that was Kerri huh... I've seen the video but didn't realize it was her.

  • I remember watching this when it first happened. It made me feel nauseous just watching it; I can't imagine the pain she was in.

  • Wow!!!!!! Looks like that would HURT!

  • ohmigosh it made me tear up when she she says "help me god"

it sounds like she thinks she is going to die

    poor kerri ):

  • I fell on the floor and landed just like she did...The doctor told me I was lucky I didn't break my back...I think she was even more lucky than me...

  • what year was this?

  • @bluecrushce2 1994, US Classic

  • Looked like she broke her neck for sure.

  • @aj5650 It ended up being a stress fracture of L-4 and L-5. The doctor's guessed it was already there and that the fall made it worse. She herself remembers her back being sore when she trained at Nunno's Dynamo gym the year previous.

  • that really is sad... =( poor kerri

  • That looked like it hurt so bad.

  • so sad...

  • omg i thought she broke her spine!!! She got hurt here, the olympics, shes such a trooper! GO KERRI!

  • She has such a young-sounding voice but she looks much older.

  • TOTALLY!! When she cut her hair it made her look like 5 years older!!! lol

  • aww!! I think she said, "Please Lord" That's so sad I've fallen off the bars but mothing like that!!! She is so talented and I should take notes from what she says cause she is awesome!!

  • she is a cool kid or rather was a cool kid, now a cool adult. Her voice sounds like that girl from Party of Five

  • i just cried i cant stand when people are in pain like that

  • thats horrible i had to turn down the sound i can there those type of gasps it sounds like someonme was torturing her from teh inside iyiyyyyyyii

  • No don't worry honestly, I just get alot of shit about doing gymnastics as a male. People just don't truly understand the dangers of 1 miscalculation. I remember at that time my parents were going out of buisness, so I tried to keep myself from going to the hospital. I was basically yelling "I'm FINE!". Even though all I could move was my head and barely.

  • I'm named after this lady. I've watched her and she's like pretty good. but sooo yah, my name ios Kerri!!!!

  • Is that sarcastic, I can't tell.

  • And thats why i hate bars. cause you could get hurt. its my 3rd event. anyone agree?

  • i fell sooooooo bad 4 her

  • her voice is no high!

  • that happened to me... its horrible... my legs felt like they had burning ants on them and i couldnt get up... i thought i was fine but i was gasping for air cause i was having a realy hard tim ebreathing... then my coach said to me .... your gana be ok... .at that point i knew i was fucked.... then they brought the stretcher and i didnt want my parents to spend any money because of the economy so i ttried to get up but couldnt and so i kept on telling myself and everyone around me that i was ok

  • ok..so how old is she here? and what was the exact injury someone said elbow?

  • This was in '94 so she'd have been about 16 at the time. I don't recall the details, other than it being a bad elbow injury. Says something, by the way, that according to her mom, Kerri was one to push herself harder than anyone else would--in some other gymnasts, it's easy to guess that this mentality would lead to eating disorders and other unhealthy behaviour for the sake of following their dreams of success.

  • she fractured her spine.

  • No it wasn't an elbow injury. She hurt her back, and in fact could've been paralyzed. But luckily she had a full recovery. She fractured one of her vertebrae.

  • Actually, this was an elbow injury, not a spinal one--but it was bad enough that she missed the rest of 1994 and much of 1995 rehabing. She came back, as we know, strong enough to win American Cup and qualifiy for the Olympic team in '96--where yet another injury gave one of the most remembered images of the Games.

  • did she break her back/spine

  • I believe she fractured her spine

  • yeah she did fracture her spine. ouchh

  • you ever notice when most people injure themselves they don't say help? I wonder why that is.

  • just a matter of personal pride.

  • She looked abit like elena zamolodchikova when she was on the floor gasping

  • wow what a fighter her voice is so cute!

  • didn't sheend up braking her back/spine thing???

  • untameablebeast, you shut the fuck up. if that happened to u, not a million swords could stop me from laughing. bitch.

  • she's fallen sooo many times and so have i lol

  • ouch!!! :( shes still a hero!

  • Oh, that's agonizing to watch!! Poor Kerri! Oh, that's AWFUL!

  • Kerri went through more hell and disappointment than any of the other Mag 7. She's a true hero!

  • omg... sooo sad ,. her crys for help almost made me cry!!!!!!!

  • me too! especially when she says ohh! then she turns on her side and says help me innocently. i feel so bad for her

  • God, that girl went through so much during her gymnastics career. Poor thing.

  • I fell backwards like that off the bar but luckily I landed flat on the springboard, but I still hurt my back so she must have been in so much pain, poor girl.

  • oh that was an ugly fall. that was so bad. poor thing.

  • oh damn, so sad! ya trained so hard, damn, life is like that, i wish she recovers, so sad

  • uh.... she went to the olympics after this crash....

  • she sounds like kid

  • Johnyaowuncar-

This video is about Kerri Strug, not Alicia Sacramone. But since you left a silly, uneducated comment anyway, I'll respond. The accusations that were made against the Chinese gymnasts were not false, they were true. It was proven on a few of the girls' birth certificates that they were not of age to compete. And the fact that you can call any Olympic athlete a disgrace to athletes around the world shows something about your personality that I would be ashamed of if I were you.

  • her voice is so little

  • i feel so bad for her! all she can say is "help me! plase mark!" poor girl!

  • lucky she didnt die!

  • it sounds to me by the way she gasped that she got the wind knocked out of her too.

  • #1. the only chinese coach coaching americans in the olympics was shawn johnsons coach who chose to leave an oppresive country

#2. and yes we bring up the age issue because it is CHEATING! people dont realize that girls who are 14 can do more than girls who are 16 because they are lighter and more agile.

#3. america has one of the best schooling systems in the world and you are calling us stupid...

the only reason china won the 08 olympics was because of cheating and biased judging!

  • Okay, just so you guys know, the age thing was never proven. I agree that IF China was using underage athletes, they cheated. It's a stupid rule, but rules are rules. However, allimoballi, are you forgetting the disastrous mistakes the US made in that competition? It's my belief that if the allegations had been proven and China had been forced to use different athletes, they would have won anyway. Anyway, it's over. There's nothing we can do about it now, so just let it go.

  • i agree that we made bad mistakes...but can we both agree that XXCCC85XX is being completely out of line and deserves to have someone rebut what he said because it was a little extreme

  • well i agree on the first one. but you really cant call it cheating. they cant help what their body size to that extent, but yes, they should follow the rules when theyre given. its just a weird rule.

and our schools are definitely not great.

  • actually you can call it cheating. the rules specifically state that to participate in the olympics you must 16 within that olympic year. they were using younger athletes to get ahead. i know that a lot of people think "wow they are competing with girls that are like 4 years older than them" but it actually puts them at the advantage because they are lighter, more agile and (slightly) less likely to have standing injuries.

  • and look it up...the usa has one of the best schooling systems in the world. i am not saying that ALL usa schools are stellar but atleast every child in american has the right to go to public school

  • Having the right to go to public school doesn't make the school systems great. On the contrary, we have some of the worst school systems compared to some European and Asian countries. Only a small percentage of especially public schools in this nation are stellar.

Anyways, if China used underage athletes they cheated according to the rules, but we haven't proved that so as of now they didn't cheat.

  • ok you try living in a third world country (and lets face it, there are too many of those in this world) and try to get as far as you can with the opportunities that are offered to you in america.

  • Living in a third world country and having worse opportunities than the ones in America has nothing to do with the fact that many European and Asian nations have better school systems than the United States...so I don't get what you're trying to say I guess.

  • good point. i dont live in a great school district, so i guess im a bit biased on that point.

and about the other point, i thought you meant they were cheating with their methods of training somehow, but yes, they cheated in the olympics if they were underage.

    sorry about that.

  • oh not everyone

  • haha ok so not everyone; but id say theres a pretty large amount of people who thought so. one of the reporters said something about how they should both get golds. i disagreed but i DO think they should have done a second routine because the tie-breaking meathod they used was unfair and complete bogus to me

  • I don't think they should have done a second routine, because that's extremely unfair and would be very harsh on their bodies, but I don't like the tie-breaker either. They got the same score, which, no matter justified or not, should have rewarded them the same color of medal.

  • even though its harsh on their bodies, in the end, ONE person will win because they are just "better"

but i guess youre right. the games ARE a one-time thing so their first routine should be the only one that counts. hey, at least nastia got the attentoin and the controversy(sp?)

  • how old was kerri hir??

  • and that is why she made it to the Olympics, because she sucks.

  • i agree with you there

  • oh please. did you SEE the comeback she made on that vault? ...WITH an injured ankle? if it wasnt for her, the US probably wouldnt even had won the team gold

  • except... they would have.

    her vault was phenomenal though.

  • i agree with gottadancevideos. and that's why she made it to the olympics, because she sucks, and became a hero too, because she sucks! get a new insult book looser!!! you don't know how much work they have to put on this.... do you see us americans mention names of your chinese representatives in this video! so shut the heck up!

  • let's see you do it! bet you land flat on your ugly @ss face!! Unless of course you cheat. cause you are chinese. that is what you are an expert that. that and putting poison in everything. yeah. just go back to what you are good at. loser.

  • omg

  • omg

  • your rude no she doesnt

  • sorry..it's me again..but people don't understand the pain of that...you basically have difficulty breathing for like 5 or 10 mintues..and you can't walk.....it's horrible..

  • whoa..I USED TO DO TAE KWON DO..and I fractured my back...SO PAINFUL..I COULDN'T WALK FOR LIKE TWO WEEKS..I was drugged up on pain killers for like two weeks...and this LOOKS WAY MORE PAINFUL THEN WHAT I ENDURED...not to be dramatic...but she looks like she could have died or paralyzed herself with this move...I creech everytime I see it..

  • I'm really glad that she accomplished what she did: the highest honor, WIN GOLD IN THE OLYMPICS.People doesn't not recognize suffering, sacrifices and painful injuries...only accolades. Well done Kerri!

  • She's alive. she just made an appearance like several days ago!!!!

  • she never died......

  • she was never paralized nor did she die, where did you read this?

  • Uhhhh You DO know she went on to compete and win the Gold...I think someone is being facetious

  • she never died hun. where did you read that? like 2 years later she went to the olympics!

  • Carrie Strug Fell and she hurt her hip u should be careful Carrie Strug but your a sweet girl keep doing gymnastics and try not to hurt yourself u rock Carrie Strug By me Kellie Johnson

  • omg its Kerri not Carrie lol and she retired from gymnastics back in 1996

  • wow your a duesh...you pretend to know what you are talking about when you have no clue...she hurt her back for one and you spelled her name wrong

  • She's a very strong girl. That injury would put most people in retirement. I can feel her pain.

  • This forgotten footage shows her determination even more than anything we remember from the Olympic games.

What a painful injury, and what a triumphant recovery she made!

  • Oh, geez that was painful just to watch. Poor girl.

  • um..what all of this crap posted has to do with the video!?!? C'mon people...jeez

  • "The sound is great, and you can actually hear her gasping for help..."

  • agreed

  • I agree also...the poor girl. Imagine the pain she must be in...

  • omg that had to hurt. like alot!

  • Chill the f&^$ out... I don't think English is their first language.

  • 1.shes not dead

2.go to school cuz u suck at english.

    3.please please go to school

  • "go to school cuz u suck at english". Is that proper english for you? At least the other guy speaks another language. You're just a moron who has no excuse.

  • I can assure you that I am not dumb, russian or negro; and that you are just an imbecile low life douce bag. I am embarrassed that you are an American. You and your idiot comments should get out of my country immediately.

  • Come on!, you can do better than that. Think a little harder; if you can. But don't hurt those brain cells of yours, if there are any. Good thing you're not an American. Your ignorance and weakness is understood. =)

  • Let me guess, someone who writes ok English is a nerd. =) You're mentally deficient. Like I said before; an imbecile low life. Go collect your food stamps and stop making paltry remarks. Who needs to go to school now? lol.

  • You're not only dumb but funny. But I'll tell you what, I'll look for those cards that you mention so much, if you promise to educate yourself, so you can become an asset to society. Go to school, don't fight it by trying to be hard or cool. You're an idiot & you know that. =)

  • why isnt this in slow motion?

  • if that were my littlte girl i would have flown from my seats

  • Her dad is the man in the yellow shirt, holding her head still while the paramedics are strapping her to the stretcher.

  • ahhhh omg your such a B@$#&%

  • What an inspiration.

  • was this after the olympics?

  • before

  • Wow, she actually handled that pretty well. I would have been screaming and crying like hell.

  • shes my hero!

    (H)

    lol

    umm and ow

    that must of hurt!!

  • o gosh when i saw this I just about cried dang this girl is amazing and I look up to her.... and everyone should :D

  • right now she is 30 in there she was somwhere around 13-18

  • How old is she here?

  • She's 16.

  • shes coming to my gym team camp this year

  • She is such a Strong young lady!

  • wow ouch

  • MY HERO!!

  • Was that before or after the 1996 Olympics?

  • I just read that this happened in 1994...

  • OMW that would hurt sooooooooooo bad! I'm really happy that she's ok.

  • OUCH!!! I landed like that snow skiing and ruptured a disk in my neck (it took 4 years before the dr figured out what I did cause I got up and kept skiing) Watching this makes me hurt all over again.

  • so was her back broken?

  • No, it was a sprain, but the thing is she even said it looked worse than it was.

Poor thing though. Prolly felt a burning pain.

  • that looked painful!!

  • she says " I need Mum" not blood ^^

  • i have always thought something like this was going to happen on the 1996 compulsory bars routine, right on that slip grip move!

  • what did she say?? after she says help me she then says something... it sounds like "i need blood" or something like that!

  • It sounded to me like "Please, Lord."

  • Absolutely scary. I recall watching the broadcast and this being the second time it's just as painfull to watch. Her guardian Angel was definitely watching out for her!

  • some of her gymnastics falls are horrible !!! like this one and then her vault on a broken anckle she is a real inspiration to keep going!!

  • she didn't break her ankle she strained it the first vault then tore ligaments on the second. If she had broken it she wouldn't have been able to walk, let alone vault, LMAO!
