I just think that as a winger, the player must be able to use the width and the cross creates space in the mid field.
Cristano has all the skills in the world, but he can't do a decent cross, which makes him drift in field and take up the space, which defeats the point of a winger.

He plays extremely good for a winger...he is no Ronaldo of Brazil because he is a PURE WINGER and yet he scores like a Striker!

I just think that as a winger, the player must be able to use the width and the cross creates space in the mid field.
Cristano has all the skills in the world, but he can't do a decent cross, which makes him drift in field and take up the space, which defeats the point of a winger.
Kaka is just as skillful, and he doesn't do so much unnecessary show boating, and he would be annoyed when Cristino drifts in field to cramp the space!!

Ronaldo's crossing is fine, you do know wingers are allowed to come inside don't you?
It doesn't matter if a winger comes inside because the player that would have his space ran into by the winger should naturally know to run into the space that the said winger would run from.
It's common sense, surely you can understand it.
It's all about versatility.

Good for him!! It's just that sometime when I watch him play, I can't help thinking maybe he's better ultilised in mid field (an argument for efficiency and I do think Man U deployed him to some success as a strinker).
To me, Kaka always does just enough to get pass what's in front of him, nothing and nothing less this is why I gave so much praise to Kaka. So in short its matter of how to get the best out of ur combination
