I am currently a Transmutation master and it isn't that great. You get enough profit with daily epic gem cooldown without transmutation. The only other time it useful is metas which don't sell often and my JC doesn't have any worthwhile meta cuts.

this works badly for me since llichbloom is around 35 g at its lowest on my server normaly around 50 g for a stack so i can do this but it will only give me around 3g profit in 2 flask icethorn is normaly around 20g for a stack so not much profit in that frost lotus is a steady 13.5g per

Coming from a dead horde server(Alleria) where the economy is just horrible, I thought this guide would not be useful, but I was wrong. To all you who don't understand 1 lotus 40-60g will make you at least 2 flasks 60-70g and if you hit a proc as an elixer master you can get up to 8 flasks from one lotus.

your right about the price of frost lotus goin up, in fact the price of frost lotus on my server can be around 50g each on my sever (never seen it go higher). however, the price of the rest of mats for the falsk i mate "endless rage" are very cheap. a stacks of icthorn can sometimes only sell for around 12g. but the flasks them selves can sell for over 800g a stack during prime times. devilsthorn-azuremyst

Update costs: Current Server cost Frost Lotus is 50-70g. He sold 468 flasks, which is 234 combines, cuz you get 2 ea time. With no procs that would run you 11,700 gold just for the Lotus. Well i think that Mining is one of the best profession, just think that Juwelcrafting, Engineering and Blacksmithing professions need ores and/ore bars.

And other good profession for most money is Herbalisem. Why? because it is needed for Alchemy and inscription, and other good reson is for the spell that u get from Herbalisem. that heals you, it safed my life so many times:p

also remember, all the little costs, like listing cost and auction house cut will eat into your profit. you almost have to do some farming to make decent profit. tarou's guide is one of the best organized that I've seen, however I had to modify it to fit my server economy.

I generally need to farm 4-6 hours in order to get decent mats. I find very few people willing to sell it cheap, due to the work involve. maybe that's just me.

someone told me 3.3 patch nerf frost lotus spawn, and thus the higher price. if you are able to sell for 60+g each, then might be better to sell frost lotus. 60g seems to be the upper limit to still turn a SMALL profit, provided that you don't farm anything. however, there is a bigger market for flask vs frost lotus. as an elixir master I can proct 2-6 extra flask however I don't add that to my calculation. there may be a chance that you don't get anything extra.

For Transmute Mastery, there are certain transmutes that you can only make once every 20 hours. The best 20hr cooldowns to craft are Epic gems.

You can transmute uncut stones (eye of zul, dreadstone, etc), however not usable gems. You need JC. CD is 20 hours for each transmutation.  You can however make 1000 flasks a day if you have the money and mats.

Amazing guide i lvled my alchemy from 0 to 450 (thanks to your guide) for only 1368g and with all the potions, flask and elexirs that i made from lvling up alchemy i made 602g. So lvling up alchemy from 0 to 450 just cost me 766g.
