I've been watching all Heroes episodes lately and I'm agree ... Any show should have that ending and this one was the better i've ever seen so I think NBC is totally wrong ! You don't cancel a show juste because there isn't enough pepole watching it because there's ALWAYS someons somewhere you love it and ... I'm kinda sad of that bad ending ... I have been watching the series recently(heard back in 06 didn't care much)and on episode 19 or 20 out of 77eps. So far it is still amazing what most of you people can't seem to understand at NBC that half of the crap on their channel is just annoying and repetitive crap.Sorry to say to...most of the people critiquing Heroes have probably never read more then 10 comic books to understand why their going in those directions.

yeah I agree with nunodfes2, I thought all of the seasons were good and alright and whatnot, the only thing that pissed me off was how Claire just would not stop with her annoyance and just had to help with like everything and try to stop everything when she only wanted a normal life, but that's just me, I just wish they could have kept going, I thought the show was great

NBC is having a hard time and always has, mainly because they cancel great shows, like heroes, without giving it the chance revitalize. Ask the fans for their input, were the ones who watch the shows!

I agree, we need a decent ending. Seriously, how did Heroes get cancelled but shit like America's Next Top Model, or even in the realm of TV show rather than reality, how is Grey's Anatomy still on? Heroes had great acting, a good plot line, and a spectacular base story. And just when things look like it could take a really dramatic stand and do a metaphorical story line on how differences shouldn't be shunned, poof, gone. (you know they would've included a message like that. PC crowds.)

BRING BACK HEROES!!! i could write an ending that no one would expect but still get the ratings through the ROOF! I got into the show during it's first season but didnt have the time to continue watching. i recently got netflix for my xbox and have watched the first three seasons and almost half way through the fourth in a month! i LOVE this show! yea it's taken some crazy turns and all that stuff but it's an amazing show!! They cancelled it because they had like no new viewers and usually by the 3 season they do and they were forced to cancel it which sucks cause i stayde up a whole night to watch the first season literally all night through the whle day without sleeping and finished the first season a whole day it sucked but im glad they canceled cause season 4 was supid i liked i but no matter how hard they tried it wasint ganna be as good as season 1 and 2.
If they were to continue it, It would have to be a bit more realistic then just super heroe nonscence - for example it should be about the origin of those power and who realy developed it and gained the abilities in the first place!
and there should be 2 brothers twins the first ever to gain powers and the origin of all..
later on leading to a war that will ingolf the world - that kind of idea!

whether it was the writers strike or just the writers sucking, it was they who killed this show. the first 2 seasons were incredible, but after that things started to really now make sense and there were so many plot holes. they acted like the previous season didn't happen when writing the next making things confusing and frustrating. Elle was the only good thing to happen post season one then they pointlessly kill her off. they made sylar a lost puppy just wanting love plus so much more.

I loved season 1, but season 2 sucked because of the stupid writers strike. Volume III (the first half of season 3) was in my opinion the best volume of all of them...then it went downhill from there :( I loved this show though!
Season one was awesome. Seaason 2. kind of boring.villains was by far my favorite volume, fugitives was kind of back and forth and a little annoying. Well, I think during the 2nd Season they lost a lot of their fans because it wasn't very good at all, then I guess even though they got back on track with the 3rd Season they didn't gain any extra viewers really. It's a real shame they chancelled it but I guess it's too late to bring it back now. :(

What led this series to it's demise was the poor writing, mostly due to the writers strike. Originally, season 2 & 3 was going to be one season. Peter was never going to catch the virus. Instead, it was going to be released and while the heroes where dealing with the Virus the villains would be recruiting. Ellie would be tracking Sylar, alone...I don't really know what was going to happen next, but I bet it was better than what ended up happening.

ok so not a single character that was dead was bought back to life. Nikki was but 1 of 3 identical sisters that were created in an experiment. sylar never died he was only severely injured and then healed as was nathan, Adam Monroe was immortal until peter dad literally sucked the life out of him therefore killing him. The reason this show went down hill after season 1 was because of the stinken writers strike!
@TheKiwiactivist101 wrong, the amount of deaths Nathan was involved in was uncountable. It just got ridiculous at the end of season 3. They kept bringing back the Nikki character, I dont give a crap if she had five identical sisters. it was getting ridiculous and unrealistic. @CTUAlmeida7 The issue was Tim Kring changed his idea for season 2. It was originally planned to be a whole new story with a whole new set of actors; basically, Generations was going to tell the story through the younger versions of the Parents; Angela, Charles, Linderman and so forth.
He changed this on the fly, so Season 2 ended up being pretty bad - the Writers strike fucked up any momentum it gained for season 3, season 4 was good but the damage was already done.
@CTUAlmeida7 heroes was like 1 of the greatest shows to air Unfortunately most people didnt see a episode until halfwy through season1 or aftr and couldnt keep up or understand so while they brought the box set on dvd the viewers went down alltho they were still getting watched nd writers they were strugling u know budget cuts etc they lost some writers to othr shows but it was still better than some crap that remains on air and gets more views because it is in peak view time. Bring Back Heroes.

I blame the writers strike. It caused season 3 to be cut into two volumes and half of season 2 was cut anyway. Season 4 picked up the pieces and started getting better but by then the show had already lost a significant amount of viewers.

well the writers strike happend in the second season so they had to make it shorter and condense what they wanted and the fourth season had a great start, but you didn't figure out anything like the compass and peters involvement in the circus. All it was, was characters dying 10 times then kept coming back in stupid ways. People kept getting new powers which made it stupid and confusing, there were constant questions that were never answered. Season one was clearly the best and most ppl think so as well.
@CTUAlmeida7 most people dont follow the show as obsessively as I do and rewatch an episode a day. I found ways around all the plotholes in s2,3 and 4. I made theories as to why they work. Season 1 is the one that fucks everything up. I never found it confusing. Maybe i rewatched it so many times that my initial opinions or questions are forgotten but i enjoy watching episodes from s3 and 4 the most. s1 and 2 have too many characters in an episode so not much happens.
@SINI1995 the first season was phenomenal. It was so popular, everybody loved it. It won awards and was known as one of the best shows on TV. Then once the other seasons came out, less and less people watched it. By season 4, most people hated it. Season 4 had such a low following that they actually had to CANCEL the show.

Also, season 1 had a HELL of a lot more advertsement than the first. And the first 21 episodes all served to build up for the finale which is great for keeping an audience interested but horrible when u can never live up to that expectation.

I agree, we need a decent ending. Seriously, how did Heroes get cancelled but shit like America's Next Top Model, or even in the realm of TV show rather than reality, how is Grey's Anatomy still on? Heroes had great acting, a good plot line, and a spectacular base story. And just when things look like it could take a really dramatic stand and do a metaphorical story line on how differences shouldn't be shunned, poof, gone. (you know they would've included a message like that. PC crowds.)

whether it was the writers strike or just the writers sucking, it was they who killed this show. the first 2 seasons were incredible, but after that things started to really now make sense and there were so many plot holes. they acted like the previous season didn't happen when writing the next making things confusing and frustrating. Elle was the only good thing to happen post season one then they pointlessly kill her off. they made sylar a lost puppy just wanting love plus so much more.

Season one was awesome. Seaason 2. kind of boring.villains was by far my favorite volume, fugitives was kind of back and forth and a little annoying. I think there needs to be more Heroes. just stop bringing back jessica/nikki/barbara or whoever else the hell she was. and i dont get how they didnt have enough viewers? the show was averaging like 12 million viewers a week

Well, I think during the 2nd Season they lost a lot of their fans because it wasn't very good at all, then I guess even though they got back on track with the 3rd Season they didn't gain any extra viewers really. It's a real shame they chancelled it but I guess it's too late to bring it back now. :(

What led this series to it's demise was the poor writing, mostly due to the writers strike. Originally, season 2 & 3 was going to be one season. Peter was never going to catch the virus. Instead, it was going to be released and while the heroes where dealing with the Virus the villains would be recruiting. Ellie would be tracking Sylar, alone...I don't really know what was going to happen next, but I bet it was better than what ended up happening.

ok so not a single character that was dead was bought back to life. Nikki was but 1 of 3 identical sisters that were created in an experiment. sylar never died he was only severely injured and then healed as was nathan, Adam Monroe was immortal until peter dad literally sucked the life out of him therefore killing him. The reason this show went down hill after season 1 was because of the stinken writers strike!

@CTUAlmeida7 The issue was Tim Kring changed his idea for season 2. It was originally planned to be a whole new story with a whole new set of actors; basically, Generations was going to tell the story through the younger versions of the Parents; Angela, Charles, Linderman and so forth.
He changed this on the fly, so Season 2 ended up being pretty bad - the Writers strike fucked up any momentum it gained for season 3, season 4 was good but the damage was already done.

I blame the writers strike. It caused season 3 to be cut into two volumes and half of season 2 was cut anyway. Season 4 picked up the pieces and started getting better but by then the show had already lost a significant amount of viewers.

Season 2 was probably my least favorite, but it was still awesome! Loved all the characters and story lines in this show! LONG LIVE HEROES!

@CTUAlmeida7 most people dont follow the show as obsessively as I do and rewatch an episode a day. I found ways around all the plotholes in s2,3 and 4. I made theories as to why they work. Season 1 is the one that fucks everything up. I never found it confusing. Maybe i rewatched it so many times that my initial opinions or questions are forgotten but i enjoy watching episodes from s3 and 4 the most. s1 and 2 have too many characters in an episode so not much happens.

Then once the other seasons came out, less and less people watched it. By season 4, most people hated it. Season 4 had such a low following that they actually had to CANCEL the show.

Also, season 1 had a HELL of a lot more advertsement than the first. And the first 21 episodes all served to build up for the finale which is great for keeping an audience interested but horrible when u can never live up to that expectation.
