Roma, 28 feb. (Apcom) - La Bmw 'Gina' è stata premiata come concept car, ma l'idea del rivestimento in stoffa della carrozzeria, sarebbe una idea copiata ad un italiano. E' questo il contenuto di una denuncia-querela presentata dallo stilista di moda Giuseppe Bianco, che è stata depositata nei giorni scorsi alla Procura di Roma.

No, actually the shell of your car doesn't protect you from a crash, the frame does. This concept, if not safer than a conventional car, can offer the same safety with much less weight, as well as superior aerodynamics & a very affordable future to automotive design.
you'd never have dents or paint scratches, & fabric replacement could be done in your own garage for a fraction of the cost.

It's a poly cloth, sort of like spandex but tougher & stain resistant. It's made out of petroleum, however it's recyclable. Nanotechnology doesn't serve much of a purpose in the auto design world. Maybe auto mechanical & structural though.
Sheet metal panels don't serve much of a safety purpose in cars, they have very little impact resistance; your frame absorbs and diffuses the impact.
