it's a real easter egg to see this song live. Chino HATES singing the vocals of another singer. I remember seeing it live and I don't remember Chino screaming Maynard's part at all. In any case, seeing this song live is enough of a treat.

I always thought they should have someone else in the band take over for that part. There's got to be another member of the band with a decent voice.
Maynard is something else so it probably isnt easy to find a replacement for his voice. Just having them play it live is cool enough. Their voices(Chino&Maynard) are both very distinct. Of course they picked him for the song for a reason.

I read an interview with Chino, he specifically said that he dislikes singing other artists parts in concerts because that is their part not his. so they try not to play those songs, they play them in concert because the fans want to hear the song, they want to see it live.
I guess he did fuck it up, but at the end of the day he did a pretty good job with a fuckin hard act to follow, and im not really sure if there is anyone who could match Maynard in the volume and power department! Theres an interview with Angus young from AC/DC who says they only write songs they know they can perform the same or better live. Some bands should listen to the advice! Still....fucken ripper of a song! love it!

And though Chino has had some really bad performances he has also still given out some good ones aswell doing high notes and very high erie screams that make the performances soar past the record at times. Be more open minded musically to notice more
