I could see why people think this is wack. BUT they don't understand what rap was in the early 90s and 80s. Rap wasn't about what you said, it was HOW you said it. Too $hort had simple rhymes by today's standards, but the way he said it just made people go all over him. Take Rap-A-Lot records artists. I can't count how many times they used gunshots and sound effects to fill a line. An example is Ganksta NIP's South Park Psycho. His lyrics were wack, but the way he said it made people interested.
