It's just a phase a new version of Marvel is going through. Phoenix was an experiment character and of course that experiment ended up taking precedence over all of the other characters. There's nothing surprising about Phoenix being OP or giving you hard time, if she wasn't OP she'd be ass that's her design.

With all of the nerfs to her in Ultimate there will ultimately be new top tiers and she won't be your worst problem anymore. You'll have new problems in a month.

@MrPavySRK Here's a better point. Pavy, have you seen the changes for UMvC3? They make an already laughable game even more stupid. Check this - you cannot block during an airdash. So this makes characters (most of which are bad BTW) that rely on it (V.Joe, Morrigan, Thor, etc) basically unplayable. Eat combos and supers while trying to get in? Sounds great! And what about the air X-factor which caters even more to scrubs, everyone dying even quicker, balance changes not helping worse characters.
