  • Good day

    Haaa

    Pretty funny eh!

I love Vinyl Cafe! I listened to the 2011 "Arthur Awards Show" this morning on

    CBC2.

I rarely miss the show Sat am CBC1

  • This is hilarious!!!!

  • Wonderful — Stuart, you brighten my life!

  • Great clip ... he's the best and you can download all the Vinyl Cafe episodes as a podcast on iTunes. I never can seem to catch it on Saturday and Sunday but having the podcast rocks.

  • i love this guy

  • Been listening to him for a while on CBC Toronto and find he brings back what life used to be and what it should be like.

  • If you don't know who stewart is, it could help to know that in this clip, he's doing a parody of himself. I'm in Quebec and he's one of my very few links to the rest of Canada. I love to read about all those little towns across our land and their people. "We may not be big, but we're small"

  • yup...and hes even better in person

  • yup...hes Canadas greatest story teller...just look for his "I have to pee" sketch here on YT...youll die laughing :)

  • lol. i would so watch that!

  • this was on Rick Mercer's show

  • Is that guy for real?

I've never seen him on CBC

  • he's the host on the cbc radio program "the vinyl cafe"

  • What is that?

  • The Vinyl Cafe is a weekly radio show that is sort of like a variety show, except that it revolves around one guy (Stuart McLean) telling a folksy story about Dave and his wife Morley and the kinds of shenanigans their family gets into. And then Stuart tours around Canada bringing various up and coming folk musicians with him and telling stories wherever he goes. You are not a Canadian until you have heard a Dave & Morley story. It's on CBC Radio 1 at noon (or, at least noon in Alberta).

  • hes on CBC radio....hes hilarious

  • yes its a spoof,a good one too. and it refers one of his most funniest story "dave cooks the turkey"

  • is this real?

    or is it another spoof?

  • CTV Newsnet is on the TV screen in the background...
