@Headhunter4Lyf In the same way you shouldn't smoke too much.... so no. It's better to not have meat in your diet as a regular staple. I eat meat, every once in a while on the weekend as a treat in small amounts but it's not in my regular diet at all!
According to the book of Genesis around the time that God gave the okay to eat living creatures was the same time that God had limited the human life span to around 120 years. I find it interesting that according to the Bible humans lived to be around 900 years when the diet consisted of only vegetation.
i have an aunt that lives in mexico & she is in her late 80's & she has been eating meat, dairy, eggs all her life & she is very lean & has all her senses & is healthy..go figure...

Animals do NOT make omega-3 fatty acids. They are derived from plant sources and concentrated in the animals body. Example: alaea produce omega-3's. Salmon eat the shrimp that eat algae. Chia seed has an omega-3 to omega-6 ratio of 2:1. Hemp and flax are high in omeg-3. Most plants contain it. Saturated fat from plant sources are good for you. As for raw foods: all research proves that heating food above approximately 110 degree destroys ALL vitamins, denatures the proteins, and oxidizes the fa
This guy is wrong! Vegans lack B-12 & the best type of Omega 3 fatty acids that come from FISH!!! Fish is very healthy and it's ignorant to label all animal flesh as unhealthy. Vegans have low testosterone levels, along with other deficiencies...it's not natural for humans to be Vegans. Dairy has no place for humans and the same can be said for red meat from lazy animals, but poultry, fish, and eggs definitely serve a purpose.
@DannyGrip1 I agree but thay have b-12 suplements that the vegans can take but little do thay know most vitamin b-12 suplements come from animals very little b-12 suplements come from sea weed so that being said naturally we eat meat but Americas problem is that thay eat way to much meat and thay love the faty foods so of cource its bad for them to much of any thing is bad for us and with all the steroids and preservatives and who knows what else is a problem to.
@mary123418 Coconut oil is far better than toxic crap like canola and lard etc it is good for frying , ir you must fry anything. It's great for the skin too. I use it daily. Try to minimize taking internally as we don't need extra oils in food other than for Omega 3's . Take flax oil for that.
It sad because beyonce lady gaga and TV preachers can get millions of views but this guy showing how to save lives for free has a measly 22,000 after being posted for 2 years. Wake up you simple @ $ selfish people. This video should be played at every fast food and grocery store.
Gluttony is one of Dante's Seven Deadly sins. This is probably why. And when you sin as a glutton, you get fat in your blood vessels and die early or live poorly.
At 0:18 O-M-F-G!. That is too bad. If that thing looked steel grey we could think it were some sinister spy implant planted by the Russians or something. That is a *tube* of *fat*. Wow!
the only thing that he says that is pretty erroneus, there is B12 deficiency....only found in animal products. Yes vegans can take a supplement but there is a deficiency associated with not eating animal products...though he reports otherwise in this segment. Eggs however have plenty of b12, and if that is the only animal product youre consuming i dont think youd be too bad off.
I find this video interesting. However, I do think that meat has a place in our diets, it just has to be a smaller and better selected piece. We don't all have to be vegetarians to be healthy, we just need to exercise self-discipline and restrict our consumption of animal products and junk foods.
@wander099 You have been brainwashed to believe that there is a place for meat in our diets. There are many more effective ways to get your protein at higher quality level with less risk, but most people don't know this. I am not going to tell you - you do your homework.
This is an excellent video except I wish to also state that vegetable oil and hydrogenated or heated vegetable oil are different. Hydrogenated/heated vegetable oil is trans-fat.
Much like the protein " debate ", your argument depends heavily on the suppostition that human physiology is in need of certain fatty acids in quantities OVER AND ABOVE what the real ( and historically-proven ) data suggest. Our bodies require NO MORE THAN the equivalent of ONE TSP. of fat(s) per day to function. This is FACT, not conjecture. Out-of the ONE TSP. of fatty links and chains, how much animal/vegetable-DERIVATIVE acid ( including DHA ) will we be getting ? PLENTY. Sorry.
Actually, I talked about the o3:o6 ___ratio___ rather than absolute quantities, on which I only mentioned that you don't have to worry about getting too much omega3, because getting too much is unfeasible in practice.
"Our bodies require NO MORE THAN the equivalent of ONE TSP. of fat(s) per day"
This *might* be enough, IF it's mostly DHA+EPA. But in vegetarians, it 's at best ALA in part, of which at best 10% are converted. -->way too little.
I must be honest with you people - 1st the lecturer is not human being, he is reptilian shapeshifter (there a signs which revial his true nature). Look at his left hand in 1:31 where he make litle horns hand signal - look at the shape of his thumb, now look again very carefully at his left hand in 6:30-6:31, feel unconfortable? its far too long. Now look his eyes - in the entire video he hide them (there a reson for that). 2nd what he say is a lie, he is satan's agent thying to deceive you.
Another scientific FRAUD in this video & in the table at 04:40 is that Klaper left out TRANS fats (hydrogenated fats), which are usually made from PLANT fats, and are SOLID at body temperature (e.g. plant margarine -- 0% cholesterol, haha), and are highly responsible for the clogging of arteries. So, contrary to Klaper's assertions, you CAN get arteriosclerosis & all the heart & inflammatory illnesses from 100% PLANT fats (trans-fats & omega-6). To avoid illness, avoid these, & add fish oil.
@ccd101 You've actually just pinched this man's argument, but I don't think you realize it. The point : REDUCE THE CONSUMPTION OF ALL FATS. Coconut oil remains solid at room temperature. Vegetable fat. We get it. This presentation does not make the assertion that VEGETABLE FATS should be consumed OVER animal fats. The only way to derive OIL from vegetabkle foods is via reductionism. Tha is the OPPOSITE of what this speaker is saying. Do you understand that ? I'm not being coy. DO YOU GET IT ?
"The point : REDUCE THE CONSUMPTION OF ALL FATS."
That's another mistake. We need to maximize the omega3 : omega6 ratio. In practice, you can't get too much of omega3, and it won't make you fat (on the contrary). But what most people end up doing in a "low-fat" diet is to actually _reduce_ the o3:o6 ratio, because it's very easy to reduce omega3 intake to nearly zero, but very hard to reduce omega6 intake (it's in everything).
The bottom 3 lines in the table at 04:40 are scientific FRAUD, making it look like animal fats are omega-6 & plant fats are omega-3. The truth is that vegetarian diets are often heavy on omega-6 & very poor on omega-3. (E.g. the popular sunflower oil has a o6:o3 ratio of 126:1!) The efficient forms & amounts of omega-3, EPA & DHA, are ONLY in animal fats (mainly fish oils). Of the only plant-based omega-3 (ALA), only ~10% (at best) are converted to EPA & DHA, which are needed in body functions.
@ccd101 Once again, you have been getting your stats/info from the wrong website ...... dude.
YOU WILL RECEIVE ALL THE F A T T Y ACIDS YOU REQUIRE FROM A VEGETABLE-BASED DIET. I don't need to write anything else. I hope you understand that. No more comments, please, for I don't feel like correcting you again. K ?
Your shouting suggests that you have DHA deficiency. In fact, DHA and EPA are very important fatty acids that do _not_ occur in natural plant sources (except for a bit of DHA in some algae *yuck*). They may be synthesized in your body from the plant-based ALA, but only at a conversion rate of ~10% at best -- often much lower (depending on your vitamin etc. status). The brain (dry matter) and CNS mostly consists of DHA, and EPA is vital against inflammatory illnesses.
@ccd101 I posted a GENERAL statement above, for all nay-sayers.
However, I do wish to respond to you directly.
Thank you for your concern for my health. I was feeling a little foggy-headed while I wrote the earlier comment, but after consuming a coupla' Whopper Jr.'s w/cheese, I feel ..... I feel...... so FULL of fatty acid. Now, I really should keep this up, shouldn't I ? Which do you recommend : Original or Extra Crispy ? You see, my brain is lacking in so many fatty acids, I can't decide.
Yes, and that statement was wrong. ("You will receive ALL...")
"but after consuming a coupla' Whopper Jr.'s w/cheese, I feel so FULL of fatty acid."
I never suggested to eat junk food. That you have to build up a strawman, shows that you have no argument against my position. To build up your brain, you have to eat DHA, not junk food.
B12 came from dirt on our veggies... before we started our obsession with over washing our food... however with pesticides etc... who wouldn't want to over wash their food.... you can live without meat
We know a 60 year old female, 5ft tall, 340lbs, diabetic, knees with steel replacements, eats ice cream almost everyday. Does not listen when told raw foods will cure her.
What about vitamin B12??? Isn't that a vitamin that we need and can only get it from meat or meat by product or a supplement??? I hear we only need a little, yet my brother was diagnosed by a doctor to be low on vitamin B12. My brother eats chicken and fish, yet low on vitamin B12. His body may not be able to absorb this vitamin, I've been told... Can a vegan get B12 from their diet???
No one gets b12 from their diet. B12 is made by bacteria, but most people eat it through "enriched" food. They're essentially taking a supplement. Many people do have absorbtion issue, though. Look into intrinsic factor.
