They could not have picked a better place to put the restaurant... I don't know what was in the sauce on the beans, but it probably came out of a better can than the cans of beans that I get at the supermarket...
I'm not even allowed to eat spaghetti-Os! The pasta in them spikes my sugars... My doctor's just about to put me on insulin, but then I'll be able to eat anything and adjust my insulin to suit.
Naw Cindy, those pickles, if they are crispy, are kosher. I LOVE those pickles! I've eaten bison, (the restaurant called it buffalo, but more likely than not, it was bison), but never elk. I bet it is good.
That looked like fun. I want to go to Yellowstone so bad. I have an app on my phone that has the cam they have set up on old faithful, so I can watch it go when ever I want to :) The food looked so fresh. See, now I could go for an elk burger. and baked beans are always a staple in my house :) Cindy's plate of food looked really yummy too. I bet this was one of your better trips.
This was the road trip on our way to SouthTube last year... It was one of the best trips of my life! The whole experience was right up there with the road trip to the Yukon and Alaska that I did with my dad back in 1997! I can imagine faithful being cool to see at night if they light it up! Does the app show night eruptions too?
You would never catch me in yellow stone or that part of the country my luck I would get there and that damn super volcano would explode lmfao Just saying
I've only had elk once, back in the early 90s when one of my contract customers brought one back from his hunting trip. He had plenty to go around and shared it with most everyone he knew. I remember it having a distinctly different taste, but it's been so long I don't recall it. The food there looked good.
Elk is the finest meat that I have ever tried or could imagine... Now that you mention it, I don't remember what exactly it tastes like, but it always leaves me with the impression that it's better than any other meat that I have ever had!
Even though I don't eat burgers at restaurants anymore, I love me a patty melt (which I saw on the menu, and all I had to hear was "pepper jack cheese', and the Cookie Monster voice in me activited.
That day was just the perfect day to visit Yellowstone... We usually do all of our cooking at home but about once a week we like to treat ourselves to dinner, and many of our videos are about just such treats... When we're on a vacation like we were in this video, our regular habits are forgotten and we live it up a little :)
"elk burger"? i would totally give that a try! .. =D .. but no onions for me! LOL .. ;D .. Ooo, i'd also try the trout too! cindy's plate looks sooooo good! my stomach is starting to growl! ~haha~ .. ;D .. it's so funny to hear you talking about air conditioning when it's winter! LOL .. ;D .. great geyser and great vid! ~ hugs, katie
This was recorded at the end of September and it was a beautiful warm day. It was just pleasant... We didn't really need the air con. The food was delicious!
Wow that burger was huge!! what sauce do they have on the beans? The trout looked really good too. What a beautiful place to have brunch"

@fehquig Insulin is alot safer than the pills. Every pill I ever took for my diabetes has been pulled from the market.
