I don't mean to be a show off, but the first day I used an iPad, after a bit of getting used to it, I typed faster than that... and I had no spelling mistakes nor weird spaces in the middle of my words xD

@harryman04 yea it's coz you cant rest your fingers on the ipad or else it will just activate the keys, so holding holding your hands above the ipad is much slower coz then you have to take your fingers completely off the key every time

@DarenHD yup thats exactly why. and if you shift your wrists at all, you will hit completely wrong keys especially if you look away from the keyboard even for a second. and then you have to go back and re type everything its kind of annoying.

I can type a lot faster than that on my PC keyboard and always will. With a flat touch screen you get not real feedback from the keys at speed so touch typing will always be slower.

Typing really fast is possible because of the awesome auto correction. You don´t need accuracy, the software will do that for you.

There is no way that typing on an iPad is faster because on a regular keyboard you can hold your fingers on all the buttons so that they are more ready to press.

Also you have to stare at the keyboard when you type.
