Apparently Skip James hated C's version of his song. Jack Bruce in true class delivered a large Royalty Check to Skip's widow and it was those funds that paid for Skip Jame's funeral expenses. PS. This guy should try the LIVE version of "ISG" like Eddy Van Halen would study EC's lead parts on "ISG". This studio version was done on the Fender 6 Baritone bass and a very pedestrian bass part to say the least. Well, I guess we all have to start somewhere...
