Holy fuck, even with prostrate cancer, look at how energized and full of energy he is at the end. He's such a legend, high five at 75, so rad, and his own man. What an inspiring individual.
the problem here, make no mistake about it, is massive amounts of cigarettes and an egomaniac asking the "questions". anyways, watch?v=Zkv-lFHQjfI 'Skip E. Lowe interviews Dr. Timothy Leary' is a much better interview.
xChilex, you are an ignorant, arrogant, moron. if you really did take lsd and mushrooms, you completely missed what you were supposed to learn from the experience.

yea i have loads of drug experience like lsd or shrooms. whats the point? i know the bad things that can come in the end. so a big FU to yo all... weed and alchol should be legal as i said before but not the rest.
If you truly have had "loads" of experiences with LSD and psychedelic mushrooms, you obviously weren't mentally or emotionally competent enough to handle those experiences without suffering from adverse effects. A drug only becomes "bad" when it's abused by an ignorant mind.
xChilex, what does "all the rest" mean? Do you have any knowledge on all the rest of the drugs in the world? So to you, all drugs should be illegal, until the government allows it to be legal? That is a fucked up position. You are saying that things should be illegal by default, until the government grants us the right to put something into our OWN body - something that doesnt infringe on the rights of other individuals. Thats some 1984 shit. Do you know the concept of personal responsibility?
More than an interview, two friends chatting, trying to make the best of a camcorder lodged there like a third wheel.
These guys chewed the fat freely many times, but since it's an interview, suddenly they have to try and structure their conversation, probably for the first time ever, so Krassner gets self-conscious, as does Leary, although to a much lesser degree.
However, you can see that they're very much at ease with each other.
Hey chile, what do you do for a living? Timothy Leary explored a whole new universe, had the most exciting life, and was the smartest human to walk the earth!Hmmmmmmmm... Maybe you should die you ignorant "oxygen waster".
he didnt explore a whole new universe...he explored our universe and all that is connected the future and the billions of years weve been evolving from
Remember Timothy was borne in 1920, this was filmed in 1995. Timothy was 75 years old and for a 75 year old man he was very sharp! And very much together. Most people at 75 are not this alert!
@NancysNetwork just look at "Tim." Just look at 2:22 "Tim" is a champion of intelligence. what kind of comment is that? He's fucking high and believes neon tells the truth......you TWAT! Get a life, read a book and don't be a simpleton in your comments. I know you are but what am I. I'm rubber and you are glue what ever bounces off me sticks to you..........FUCKING un-educated CUNT! Hey, on your next pregnancy test book an abortion!
The man was a genius. I must admidt that at times in this interview that he is a bit like what I imagine Calvin Coolidge was in his later years. Though it seems to me that the internet in many ways was just but an extension of what his intentions for humanity would include. That being a greater mode of communication of like-minded indiviuals. How could anyone fault that? In many ways, he was further ahead than he would credit himself for.
thanks man!

Lsd isn't the same thing as crack.
And don't try to defend drugs that are worse than lsd.
