Well I'll be damned my name is Scott and I wave to Scott as I ride by with my dog on the tank, I see him in New Albany all the time, I think I talked to him for a minute in Finks, he's a nice guy. I heard he had one leg. I ride a BMW and Scott has a Harley, but he waves to me anyway LOL.

hey i have been riding with my dog for 5-6000 km with no problems, yes, its legal as long as the dog is not in distress, its perfectly safe as long as i ride smooth, my dog has been 120 mph on a few occations and realy digs his bike..i pitty the dogs with masters who would not share such a wonderfull thing with their best friend...that being said you MUST have full control and near perfect obedeince to pull it off safe but it seems those who would nay say also have misbehaving dogs.

I have to fully agree. My dog has a fit if he thinks I am going to leave on the motorcycle without him. As for being illegal or harmful, I have had both the police and vets check over everything to be sure that it is safe for the dog. It also depends on the particular dog. Mine is very clumsy on solid ground, but put him on a bike and he is steady as a rock.

@s2who My hound rides a tank platform, shes a little thing 15 pounder, she's as steady as a rock. Of course you have to be smooth on acceleration and braking, but I've dragged my toes in the corner with her, and she'll do it standing, sittin , or lying down. And you can tell she likes the bike better, she knows when were going and gets happy, when she sees the harness and leash come out she's real fucking happy
