I queried Liddy about Soetoro/Obama's eligibility live on his radio programme in July '08. I pointed out the fact that then candidate Soetoro/Obama claimed to have dual citizenship at birth (Kenyan father) and might not be eligible under Article 2. Liddy said on the air that he believed Soetoro/Obama was in fact eligible! I was shocked to hear Liddy-a lawyer-say this on the air. He also sounded slightly annoyed wiht my question, btw.

I am retired military. It pains me when someone who is serving his country and is in a medical unit who is literally saving soldiers lives is about to go to prison for his beliefs in the constitution. When someone holding the highest position in the land who has not served in the military will let this go on. It is quite arrogant when the President refuse to address the issue and provide once and for all that he is an American. What is suspect is Obama was once a citizen of Indonesia.

That's right, and I'll add that being a Natural Born Citizen is not a right, but a privilege that you can only acquire at the time of your birth.
