A 19 yr old girl got stabbed where I live and the judge sentenced the guy to life, with a minimum of 19 years, so he would serve a year in jail for every year she was alive. British legal system is outdated and needs set guide lines, people get it to easy these days.

I'm all for education, reform, etc, my biggest mountain was trying to show these kids that you don't have to be your surroundings, I wish just one time they would let me headline a program for young people, I wouldn't sit on my hands like the ones in position to do something now, I'd get something done.

@raidersSolja I see where you're coming from... but this is how I see it.... before you can plant a garden you first have to get rid of the weeds and thorns and things that would keep your garden from growning and producing...
I worked as a JDO for years and the system made no sense to me... we would get these kids, "rehab" them and after 3-6 months send them back to their same neighborhoods and they would end up in the same mess.

@raidersSolja when i worked as a Juvenile Detention Officer most of the kid's comments were things like " look where we live, where we come from, what we see everyday. I'm all for education, reform, etc, my biggest mountain was trying to show these kids that you don't have to be your surroundings, I wish just one time they would let me headline a program for young people, I wouldn't sit on my hands like the ones in position to do something now, I'd get something done.
