  • I swear some of homeruns he hit were such a 100% slice home run it's amazing.

  • Fuck you.

Professional players slump, even Japanese players you fucking moron.

The world could would be better if idiots like you could just die. Go to hell ass hole.

  • the 1st hr was so smoked

  • ok you know more that me... so ill shut up

    hehe sory bout that

  • toooooooooooooooooo easy for him

  • korean is better than japan at sports..

Baseball = at least equivalent to japan but can be better.

    Soccer = definitely korea!

  • you judge with the answers with two sports? your sooo stupid.

im korean and i dont think thats true

  • learn how to speak english

    you nipponese monkey

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA nipponese monkey!!!!! HAHAHA.

  • dude, that's how ur supposed to play baseball

  • wtf.. That's how u actually play Baseball

    dumbass!

  • This guy is incredible, i think he'd thrive here in America if he played here. Everything he hits is a bomb! I also love the excitement in the announcers, here in America all the commentators are kind of monotonous. These guys are really colorful and you can tell they are always excited, I love that!

  • the first homer in this vid was absolutely smoked

  • now why the hell isnt he playing in america

  • he did back in '03 at seattle but never made it..

  • wth are you talking about, he never went to MLB. He said he was going to after 07' season, but he injured his thumb. 08' he was just awful, and he's getting too old to knock on MLB's doors

  • I was talking about spring training

  • His swing generates outstanding lift on the ball. It looks similar to Jason Varitek's only with a LOT more power.

  • 41호 요코하마전에서 쳤던건 없나요??

    임용수 캐스터 목소리 좋네요 ㅋㅋㅋ

  • they're both good players.. you don't have to talk shit about korean baseball players just because you are japanese.

  • i think it has nothing to do with his japanese nationality or that lee is a korean player. note how he had not said anything to the fact that he is japanese himself or lee is a korean player. for you to simply say he is talking shit because lee is a korean player because of a comment that has nothing to do with "nationality" is simply paranoid.

  • @rocky666555 Bingo.. You're right and that seaneddie guy is just paranoid that probably too much got affected by the multiracial racist american society.. ROFL

  • 李承燁 最高!!!!!

  • this is my favorite player

  • at :35 he got allllll of that one

  • everybody s waiting for him. just come back ASAP, PLEASE!!!

  • I have seen him since his rookie yr in 1996. He probably has one of the smoothest swing out there.

But at this point of his career, I don't think he would come over to North America.

One thing I love about him is his power against the LEFTIES. (ie. Willis in WBC and MANY cases in this video)

I'm looking forward to next March for the WBC though. He proved me wrong that he can take on MLB pitchers.

  • man u are a good hitter keep going

  • the cubs should ad him 2 center w/ fukudome/soriano=beastly

  • a lot of his homers come in the early innings or in blowouts. if he doesnt hit them under korean pressure how will he do under the pressure in boston or new york

  • he will get used to it afterwards it happens to players all the time... after that u no ur gunna feel that old same player..

  • he won the Gold medal for Korea...

  • 還是聽日文好...韓文好吵呀...

  • DE HAN MIN GUK!!!!!!

    South Korea!!!

  • Lee's hitting is incredible. This guy needs to be here in US. Stars in Japan who came here have had success. With Ichiro, Matsui, and now apparently Fukudome, there's no reason why Lee would not play well here.

Maybe Lee's waiting for the right offer. If Fukudome has a great year, no doubt ML teams will be more interested.

No need for hostility, baseball is just a game after all. That being said, it'd be great to see a Korean slugger in MLB.;)

  • 李承燁サイコー!!

  • I saw this guy bank a lazy line drive homer over the right field fence at Angel Stadium against the US in the WBC Classic. I thought it was either gonna be caught or drift foul. I did not think it was gonna be a homer but it was. My point is that his power is deceptive as evidenced by this video. He hits the ball with ease and his opposite field power is ridiculous. Anyone who thinks he can't hit homers in the majors is a ridiculous fool.

  • People don't know Korea bitches.

Please do not think Koreans are known to everyone in the world/////

  • KING KOSTya WOULD totally agree, even though I don't think he understands baseball but he understands cricket

  • what you are basically saying enfant is this: i beat you decisively in the first two rounds of our fight but I GOT KO'D IN THE 3RD ROUND!

  • great opp. field power unlike hideki

  • First off, please don't post bad remarks about the Japanese on here. They are very kind and good people and they dont deserved discrimination just because of obvious past events. Now on to the movie, that is really cool. He isnt a big guy, either. The Asian players are very special that way, where size has never mattered, they can still jack 'em. Heck, when Ichiro hits them, they arent by any means small homers. This guy looks like a very talented player. Hope to see more vids like this pop up.

  • Japanese people have been playing baseball for 70years, Korean..20years.

    and Japan has 3,000 high school baseball teams, Korea..20 -_-;;;

    I wanna ask you.

    Japanese Sucks or what?

  • I didn't know that, thanks.

I like Japanese players: Ichiro, Matsui, and especially Matsuzaka, they're fuckin' good man.

  • no actually, we are world champions!! wbc world champions!! in actuality its USA that sucks!!

  • WBC has the dumbest rule. Korea beat Japan 2times already and the still went to the semifinals. what kind of fucked up rule is that.

  • well, we didnt make the rules, we just beat the rule and won it all!! dont cry to us, cry to USA who made this dumb rule!!

  • oh so how about japan plays korea in a best of 7 series then, and then we'll see who's better, tournament baseball is totally diff. you can be beaten twice and still win the tourment(beaten twice by same team) you win when it most counts

  • so wierd

  • great hero

  • i wonder what happened to his talks with NYY last year.

  • ray kodama!

  • Now to you Koreans from a Japanese, this guy is a REAL Korean, and like so many of you spreaking rumors that Hideki Matsui is Korean is simply NOT true! Hideki is 100% genuine Japanese. And to tell you Young Seop Lee is no where as good as Hideki!

  • how you know you nigga? you aint no jesus we gota actually square them both up

  • who the hell's Young Seop Lee?

Seung Yeop Lee you meant.. :P

  • crazy gook best player in the world is Japanese. Ichiro Suzuki!!!

  • you hella crazy ichiro a monkey nigga

  • hes in a slump right now, hes batting like 6th and 7th now...

  • Lee is in the farm

  • GO KOREA!!!! The best player in Japanese baseball is KOREAN. GOTTA LOVE IT! DAE HAN MIN GUK!!

  • Hmm・・・

  • GODZILLA! GODZILLA!

  • lol

  • that announcer from SBS Sports is annoyin as fuck

  • Opposite field power. He's good.

  • he shud have been in the majors

  • lee seung yeop was kicked out by LA dogers and decided to come to japan, so he hates the MLB. he's talented, but not super like ichiro or matsui. he's injured soon and can't keep good performance.

  • nigga dont act like you know everyshit you aint no jesus he wasnt kicked out he didnt even go to spring camp and besides you japs better be lucky cuz you deepthroating SY he staying cuz he wants to win you niggas a championshit so dont complain and dont be a square

  • keep a manner, or u just express how inferior u are. yeah, lee didn't join in the spring camp cuz he was shocked to hear his worthy by LA dogers. and he was afraid to be known in korea how CHEAP he was, so he was helped by chiba LOTTE of korean CONNECTION. but even in chiba, he had to go down to the minor and u know what i mean?

  • oh btw why is your account closed? too pussy to see me huh? hahahah

  • LMAO!

  • it looks like most of them he hit of kei igawa lmao

  • man japanese hitters hit the ball so much different than how we hit it here

  • i have no idea i have no idea i have no idea lol the announcers are hilarious

  • stupid japs

  • stupid hater

  • no wander. he is one of the best hitter

  • wow hes good

  • no racism and and we eat dog less than other poor countries in asia!

think about china vietnam and other places!

  • Usually I hate Koreans, but I like Seung Yeop Lee so much.

  • wtf wuts wrong wit us korean eh?

  • the world hates japs so w/e

  • sigh im supposing you must not have a lot of friends...

  • wtf r u guys talking about the fences look a lot the same lenght over there and that guy hit some of them 500 feet

  • arnt the fences over there shorter than in the us?

  • i just read on him he is 30 so whoever gets him may not get his best years

  • you know sargeantfred you might be right maybe 25 homeruns a year as a yankee or red sock?

  • i dont know but to me it just looks like he hit a bunch of high popups that just happened to make it over the fence...he looks like a kaz matsui type player

  • with a swing that consistent (and if he goes to a hitter's park(yankees, red sox) he might hit 30 but 40 fugedabouit

  • i would love for him to ram his bat in my brownhole with his unorthodox swing! pudding for everyone!

  • he won't hit as many home runs here like he does over there! sorry!

  • He's going to do awesome in the States....they better be ready...

  • awesome...

  • he's the real deal

  • he swings like Ichiro

  • Jesus Christ, those play by play announcers need to calm down.

  • You know how when spanish TV shows a soccer match, announcers lose their mind with a goal? Here it's the same thing in Korea, except that he is the HR hitter to watch outside of the MLB. He's coming to MLB soon, and teams better have their offer sheets ready.

  • yup...he's coming soon. he ain't staying in japan where he's going to be mistreated by the umpires just because he's korean

  • Its just like when Marv Albert used to go nuts when Jordan dunked. Lee Seoung Yeop is like a god in Korea. His swing is so unorthodox, yet its level and generates alot of power from the hips. Love how he hits that shit over the left field wall. He's just awesome.

  • dang dood i love this hitter hes my favorite hitter i love his unorthodox swing
