i think this has something 2 do with a certain specific thing in the game like when i got to the gardens too early with the Serpent Sword and when i saved it....i ended up becoming the sandwraith and i already activated the garden towers and escaped the dahaka in the gardens with just the Serpent Sword (at first i was all cool about it but when i have 2 get through a cracked wall using Scorpion Sword thts when i realized tht something was going horribly wrong)
this happened to me when i saved my game in place where dahaka appears first... i didnt played the game for 2 days and when i played it i was sand wrath... and i had 2 profiles...
SPOILER ALERT: when the prince kills kaileena she turns into the sands of time, meaning that the prince created the sands himself, he gets pretty pissed off, when he finds an inscription in wall, the inscription talks about a mask that gives the one who puts it on another chance, he finds it and he turns into the sand wraith, he goes back in time to when his other self is about to kill kaileena to stop him, the mask gives you unlimited sand power, but lowers your health slowly

@Gamezpussy I think I know what you did you played this at the computer and used the sand wraith skin it's a skin that you gain after beating the game.
@CrimsonDiabolics yeah this is possible on ps2 as well i had this on my first playthrough... this game is so cool but the bugs are pretty bad and they are still on the ps3 hd remake.... it sucks because my savegames on normal difficulty are useless now... i have all life upgrades but the story has a bug normally i have to find the mask now that turns the prince in the sand wraith but instead i see the cutscene with kaileena again when i walk in the room where the water sword will appear
You don´t have to pay to record more than 30 seconds with Fraps, just download Fraps traditional version, no logo will appear up in your screen and you can record until your PC memory is over :) Gd luck! 5/5 vid

den gleichen fehler hatte ich auch xD!!! ich hab einfach ein paar kapitel davor angefangen, ich hatte davor noch irgendwo gespeichert. dann hab ich von da wieder weiter gemacht und aufeinmal ging wieder alles! also probier einfach mal aus, falls du noch ein anderen spielstand hast. hauste rein !!
yeah i know how to "get" it even with the first sword!^^.if you escaped of the dahaka you should go back in the main hall(past). then you take the same route as if you want to kill the 1st boss(woman in black armor).than you go to the next sandportal ->present.than save and quit the game. it will brake down(on pc).start the game and load the last savegame and youll be the "sandman" with the first sword.

@karansoam The strange thing is that the sand wraith was gotten it early. Notice that only four of the six sand containers are open.

I got that glitch too, even earlier than this. I had to restart the whole game, and thats a pain in the ass.

That's caused by the "bad" crack. Reloaded fixed it.

I used the demo version of fraps, but you can only make films of 30 seconds unless you pay for the full version. Which one did you use?

that's the mask of the wraith. you really get like that after a while. the effects also are like that. unlimited sands but losing health.

I know but its not a glitch its a secret.
Usualy in the chapter a second chance the prince
puts on the mask of the wraith and becomes that guy. If your not on that chapter just save in a difrent slot. I passed the game the other day.:)
