  • lol did better without resting!

  • That's great. Thanks for showing us a firearm that' we'll never own, because it's impossible to find one for sale.

  • The robber would survive all thirty tickets if you were shootin at him.

  • I sure would like to buy one but all the dealers say you guys are always out.

  • Low and to the right ...... Lobster Claw / Loosen your grip a bit and it will be corrected.

  • my pmr patters like a shot gun at 20 yards!!!!!

  • its 21 feet thats not a good group!!!!!

  • @papashake not 21 yards

  • i think hes dead...

  • i need help been lookin for one in Arizona but i cant find it anywhere

  • 35$/50 for us here in Germany X.X

  • how much for a box of the recommended load?

  • Thats a lot of fire power(rounds) in a pistol!!!!!

  • Just saw it at shot show and it looks awesome.they need to hurry up and start the mass production! these guys are really the best bang for the buck.

  • Supposedly this pistol was suspended

  • @Ratkill9000 Not true! We've been in full production all year. Over 12,000 have shipped in 2011. Keep your eyes peeled ;)

    Thanks for watching!

    -Chad

  • @chadderick71 thanks. I've been debating about getting one in a little over a year when i turn 21 just for practicing. Rather have something that doesn't jam up unlike the .22lr.

  • Supposed to say rmr to go with it.

  • I have been waiting for one for a while now cant wait for the call saying its in... I look forward to this and hopefully a tmrw to go with it.

  • $275 at my local shop (Ohio). No drama.

  • @dpms308 You're right. I'm just sitting on my hands in anticipation! Nice to have one in the collection like this! .22 remy mags are pretty cheap up here. I'm only frustrated especially becuase like, three of these have ever made it to Maine. They DID have an issue with twist-rate. But cleared that up quickly. I wish they paid more attention to their distribution is all. Case-In-Point, there's like 1500 registered in the Southeast corner. Obviously they're out of Florida but still

  • My PMR 30 has a very poor precision. What could be due? I use the CCI maxi mag.

  • Great vid Chad. I'm looking into one of these fun guns.

  • If you cater to idiots who are so out-of-control and full rage-----and you are proud that some of these low-lifes (language, anger, rage, stupidity, lack of grammar) are your customers...then you can count me out as a potential customer. Why would any business allow this, it in no way reflects anything good. Put a filter (muzzle) on these dogs for the sake of decency.

  • @mds19238 Im SO out of control and full of rage? What makes you think you can make retarded snap judgements like that? Oooh, I need to be straight-jacketed Im sooo crazy! Well, gee I have no criminal history, a concealed weapons permit, and have never even had any issues with firearm safety. I these comments fire your DRAMA QUEEN side-up so much, why even read them? What a fuckin LOSER you are. Put yo two fuckin cents on that you fucking SMEGMA lickin biyach...

  • @jdseams Ugh- I know what smegma is. I am so proud....

  • I don't understand why everyone is so mad about the availability in stores. You're on the internet. I spent ten seconds on Gun broker and found one for $550.

  • @evildude109 Have you CHECKED the MSRP?? I don't know about you, but the shop I frequent sold three for $379 before I discovered them (along with apparently everyone else) No offense, I just don't like to pay 75% inflation to fill some other dudes wallet!!!

  • @evildude109 Only nearly TWICE what they WENT for up here. My favorite local shop said they'd sell me one for $369-379.. If they EVER get anymore. All I've found on Gunbroker is 75-100% OR MORE mark-ups. You can just re-list until your stuff sells, so they price them through the roof. Even with the limited availability. Fuck capitalism, I don't want to pay some lucky schmuck who happens to own one $550!! Ouch, any vaseline to go with the DRY RUB???

  • @jdseams Lol, "fuck capitalism." Okay. Either it's worth $500 to you or not. It's not worth that to me, so I won't buy it. Simple.

  • Why did you make the gun so ugly? Im sure if not, I had buy it!

  • Great product- wish my distributor would get more than one at a time. Really like the innovative products.. but, please take this as constructive criticsm. Don't post informal Non- Professional videos of an employee in a wrinkled black T shirt, disheveled hair, unshaven face, with tattoos who can't shoot a group as small as I know the gun is capable of. I don't care how great the gun is if i can't get them to my customers- I can't sell them. I have GIVEN UP on the PMR 30. Georgia Dealer

  • @sbd45acp WELL PUT!!! Finally!! Someone ELSE gets it!!! Please feel free to read ANY of my other posts if youre able. I've been waiting about a YEAR with money in hand up here in Maine. Their distribution SUCKS COMPLETELY.. I e-mailed a bunch of times and got brushed off. They don't consider ANYONE beyond their distributors "customers" . I said "are you crazy???" With a hot item like this, if they only put someone with half a brain in charge of distribution, they would sell for LONGER

  • @sbd45acp I don't know about you, sir. I kind of like having my gun companies respect me even just a WEE BIT. Makes me feel like some celebrity's making them out of their daddy's basement or something!! You'd think anyone with a CLUE would put a LITTLE thought into distribution.

Makes me REALLY dislike KEL TEC. When the "CS woman" I dealt with basically told me to go screw (more or less) I told her she must be quite powerful there to talk to people like that...Unbelievable...

  • @jdseams We don't have any control over what distributors do with the firearms they puchase from us. We VERY much care about our customers and we have the best customer service in the firearms industry... hands down. We've shipped over 12,000 PMR-30s this year and are at a rate of 500 produced p/week. We are a manufacturer, not a gun shop. But if we were our prices would reflect our fantastic customer service.

    Thanks for watching,

    -Chad

  • any words on the RMR-30??

  • Man, it takes a long time to empty that magazine! Cool gun but I've never seen one at any of the stores in my area.

  • @nextexhale That's cos of the SERIOUS SHORTAGE my man! They've got true KEL-T fans up here in Maine been sitting on their fucking thumbs for TOO FKN LONG. It ridiculous. I mean I see the point of maximum of "500 a week" (respectable!) but howz about throwing a GODDAMNED WEEKS WORTH UP HERE guys!!!! HELL-O???? I'm #9 on the list @ Bait-Bolts&Bullets in Solon Maine. All of us and 30 more like me have been waiting for nearly a FUCKING YEAR!!! Im pissed OFF!!!

  • @jdseams that's at ONE gun shop!!! 39 orders waiting.......and waiting......and waiting........and waiting......

If it wasn't such a great idea for the price, I'd tell KEL-TEC to go shit in their fuckin hat. I like the comany! Great innovation! The sales REPs need to be dragged out and SHOT with their own weapons- since they're the ONLY ONES who own the GODDAMNED THINGS. Them n everyone in the southeast!!!

GODDAMMNED MUTHER FUCKERS BRINGSOME PMR'S THE FUCK UP HERE!!!!

  • @jdseams You need to be medicated and straight-jacketed...and for what it's worth, you are an embarrassment to the human race. You make me ashamed that this forum exist.

  • @mds19238 suck shit from my dirty ass you big headed motha fucka. Like I feel SO bad you're ashamed this forum exists and I get a note from you like that just because they don't distribute their product worth two fucks. Kill yourself ya cock licker..Usually I don't bother replying to the Darwin's wastebasket of shit licks that even comment on this idiot magnet forum...

  • Instead of carrying around a pocket .380 auto, I would much rather see a gun of a similar design as the PMR 30 in a shorter, slimmer, single stack version. I would rather have a few more rounds of .22 mag and a slimmer frame (if possible) than my .380 auto. Also ammo is way less expensive!

  • Great stuff, well done video.

I watched your hand, stop jerking on the pull, your point of aim will be better!

  • at 2:53, it sounds like you just dry fired the gun. isnt that bad for a 22?

  • Ahhhh Hell i gotta say it! any way, any one hoping maybe keltec would produce a pistol that runs the .30 carbine!!!! just an idea! or for them to come out with an rfb in 556!

  • No No you are doing it wrong.... shoot the first shot on paper then shoot the rest off paper. That way you can claim all the bullets went through the same hole. lol you need me in your marketing department.

  • any plans on making this gun or a gun like it CA compliant if i was to choose a 22 i would most defiantly pick this, also the pf-9

  • INRE price, 460 is below Suggested Retail Price. This is a great "Scare'm" wpn but it is not lethal against any approaching preying animal unless you are good and cool enough to put 15 rounds in the same 2 inch in diameter moving target. The best way to kill a large predator with this is to put 20-30 rounds in the front shoulders and leave it starve to death. Windage on a 222. at 75 yds make it useless.

  • love this gun, but it is a rip off at the local shop. 460 plus tax? it's a little steep for a .22mag

  • you work for keltec so i bet this gun want fail.. but there are problems with it ... dont you agree i like it but want a good one you thoughts

  • now that would be fun at the range with our HD and high speed cameras. I typically shoot handgun at 25 yards, 50 yards, and 100 yards (and farther with the rifle setup), so while 7 yard shooting is more rock throwing range, the PMR-30 did group pretty well, and seems lke it would be a fun little pistol for a day at the range, and worth considering for future review

  • @SuperRip7 never blame the gun, he just has poor trigger control

  • would you dual wield

  • Seems loud even for a .22 Magnum.

  • I REALLY wish Kel Tec would make this gun in the .17HMR caliber!

  • I plan on picking one of these up ASAP, and one of the KSGs when the price goes down in a few years.

  • Mabey if the king geoge would stop these stupid god damn gun laws good independet firemaking designers like john browning was would comeback and make some good rifles instead of the piece of shit m16 and m60 we got.

  • Ummmmm, my Five-seveN can pull better groups than that @ 25yds let alone 7 yds. You might want someone else to demo your guns for all people to view. Hats off to you guys for making a reliable 22WMR semi-auto though.

  • is that thing part magnum? iv seen that circular blast com from 50 desert eagles. :O

  • can you tell me if they actualy have an airsoft version of this ?

  • quick question and i know its a dumb one but i gotta ask, can i shoot a regular .22lr out of my .22 magnum?

  • @IPFR33LY59 No. The case diameter is actually a bit different.

  • @HitOrMissEtc so what is the diameter difference? it can't be more than a few thousanths correct?

  • @IPFR33LY59 True, the differnces are slight, but important

    .22LR vs .22WMR

    .223 bullet dia .224

    .225 neck dia .240

    .225 base dia .241

    .275 rim dia .291

    .040 rim thick .046

    .590 case length 1.052

    .985 total length 1.350

The bullet is made different also. .22lr is heeled so that when placed in the case it is the same diameter as the case. .22wmr entire bullet is placed inside the case. .22lr fired in a .22wmr chamber will result in a case split because there is too much room in the chamber.

  • @HitOrMissEtc so the incapability of the two rifles not being able to fire the other rifles round lies not in the barrel but in the chamber diameter itself? so a rechambered .22 barrel will accept a .22 magnum round?

  • @IPFR33LY59 Yes. Even though a .22lr is .223 bore, it works fine. Many people have re-chambered old sharps rifles or that were .22lr. Re-chambering a .22lr to say a .22 hornet, .222 rem, or .223 rem is not a good idea only because the .22lr is not able to handle centerfire pressures. For the most part, shooting the .22wmr through a .223 barrel will result in good accuracy. I have a pistol that has two different cylinders. I can shoot both 22lr and 22wmr just by changing the cylinder.

  • I saw this pistol on the sledgehammer with Nutnfancy and was not impressed. How do ya'll explain it's poor performance?

  • @KelTecweapons when are they going to start shiping them again?

  • Nice .22WMR pistol :D

  • Any chance you guys might actually produce this gun? You guys are as ADHD as they come. You can't finish and produce one project and now you're advertising KSG and RMR? Really? I'll believe when I see it!

  • I'm willing to bet the limiting factor on accuracy on this is NOT the gun but the ammo. Most rimfire ammunition isn't made with a whole hell of a lot of care. You also aren't droping $50 for a box of 20. I'm willing to bet the hornady stuff reveals this little guns full potential.

  • Hey Chad from Kel-tec. Any chance the PMR-30 gonna be coming in 17HMR anytime soon?

  • that guy needs to change the sights

  • @keltecweapons This is a little off topic for this video, but is there any hoe of a .45 ACP sub 2000?

  • @tmzrox The barrel situation was corrected pretty much as soon as it started, so no worries. IF however you pick up a PMR and have any issues with it all, just send it in with your receipt and we'll get it running perfectly and get it back to you in a hurry. As far as the usage of the PMR in a tactical situation... I couldn't agree with you more. Our local SWAT is interested in the PMR as a cover fire weapon. It's perfect for that. Lots of fire & noise.

    -Chad

  • @tmzrox We'll shoot a video of that in the near future. Our range is 55 yards and we have a 14" square plate at the end of it, and most days I can unload the whole mag onto it. It's a lotta fun.

    -Chad

  • CHAD! I almost didn't recognize you without the glasses. good work keeping it real with Nutnfancy dude!

  • @AgeOfDarkness94 Thanks! :)

    -Chad

  • Yo..FL's Hanging Chad.... LOL Any plans for making an adj. rear site for the PMR30? Would be nice to tweak it exactly to the bull's eye.

  • I LOVE MINE HAS RAN PERFECT AND SO MUCH FUN TO SHOOT, THANKS

  • Keltec needs pistols chambered for .17HMR, 5.7x28mm and 9x25mm Dillon.

  • Hi could yall also start manufacturing the mags for the grendel p30. I have a pmr 30 and my dad has a grendel p30. and we cant find mags for his any where. The mags we have found are 100-150 $, for old chipped worn out mags. I bought my pmr 30 and love it. cycles flawlessly and will be looking foward to buying the carbine when available. Is it true yall are thinking about a .22 lr version of this? ide buy one.

  • Any plans on making that pistol available in a 5.7 x 28mm? Would love to have a lower cost alternative to the FN, they have the corner on the market, i am sure keltec could take a big slice of thier pie.

  • Nice job Chad! Congratulations, Since TNP your an internet celebrity.

  • Do you plan on doing anything like a review/ accuracy video on the RFB ? like the one's you have on the PMR30 & KSG, I would really like to see a detailed video with features, specs, accuracy ect... Actually ask Nutnfancy to borrow his "Table Top Talking Points" sheet, but add your own touch to it. Great job on these videos Chad.

  • @HungarianLegionnaire That's definitely something we plan to do. Eventually all our firearms will have a video.

  • Comment removed

  • @KelTecWeapons Do you know if theres any plans on making a PMR 30 that would chamber .17HMR? Maybe a barrel drop in or something.

  • @jefallijay No plans yet. Probably something for .22lr, but other than that, a lot of focus is on the KSG and RMR right now.

  • @jefallijay wolf should invest in that idea.

  • @mrbratsch but then all the quarks of this gun need to be upgraded out. So a few years down the road if the gun is proven worthy

  • @HungarianLegionnaire Hey there. I'll see what I can throw together on the RFB for ya this coming week. Matt & I have been wanting to get working on videos for all of our firearms, but as you can imagine... with this KSG coming out we've all been extremely busy around Kel-Tec :)

Thanks for being here and for your support!

    -Chad

  • @chadderick71 That would be great, thanks for getting back to me I was lucky enough to be on leave to get the message I sent you 3 months ago, hopefully when I'm out of Le Legion the RFB will be cheaper & as Nutnfancy jokes about (possible to find). I don't know if you guys have already started this, but a "Kel-Tec RFB CA Legal Variant". With a RaddLock, 10rd FN FAL Mags & NO fake can that will screw up the barrel dynamics & recoil, but just a longer barrel that with the muzzle brake is 30".

  • Ordered and paid for 2 on January 22, 2011. This vid makes me drool. Can't wait to sell my son's AMT as soon as the PMR arrives!

  • I'm thinking about buying this as a first time gun. It looks like the perfect pistol for lots of practice at an affordable price.

  • your shotgun is alot better

  • Any plans to make a 10 round magazine for those of us in restricted states? even if you can't submit this for California roster certification, I can always have my out-of-state parents buy one ;)

  • I liked the video - exactly the type of thing I was looking for. just might have to get one or two of these now.

  • I liked the video - exactly the type of thing I was looking for. just might have to get one or two of these now.

  • Who the HELL can find one?

  • Finally a video on youtube that actually shows how frickin' loud even the smallest caliber bullet can be, especially in a confined indoor space.

  • I wish you would really focus on manufacturing these a top priority. Your MSRP is 415 meaning the street price should be less then that. However all of the ones I do come across are $480 or more. If you made more of what seems to be an incredibly popular pistol the availability would go up & the dealers would have to stop price gouging us. Please think about it. I am a Kel Tec owner & as always a fan.

  • @Belushi32 Hey Matthew, thanks for your support! Manufacturing IS our top priority, however we are already at full production with the PMR which is 500 a week. We are very well aware of what's going on, but the simple fact is, we can't do anything else about it. You have to realize we are a small company and can only do so much. We certainly are growing, so things will get better in time. Hang in there!

  • @KelTecWeapons That is bullshit!! you guys have never produced 500 a week. What a joke

  • @KelTecWeapons I agree. There's NONE here in Maine and the orders are filled in seemingly every gun shop! It SUCKS. I would imagine that someone would've foreseen -atleast in this day and age of ammo cost- that this was going to be a POPULAR little fucker! I mean CMON! 30rds WMR for like $460?????

HELLO. I know you're a small company, but howabout manufacturing 10,000 more before you introduce it! It would've sure helped with the little problems too!

If KT can push out 500 a week

  • @jdseams then they could've made a bunch ahead of time without beuing in too much overhead danger (at the cost$) and been better off! I'm like a little gun junkie here! Wish I'd have bought one of the lesser first prods! They're going now in Maine for about $700++

Great weapon idea!! When can we friggin GET ONE???

  • @Belushi32 Are the rear sights windage adjustable ?

  • @buahuntr Not yet... but we're working on it and there should be a version coming real soon.

    -Chad

  • @Belushi32 Don't be mad at your dealer.... I know it sucks that they are charging way over the MSRP, but if you knew how much time and effort a dealer puts in to get ONE of these guns on their shelf you would understand. I work in this industry and Kel-Tec is one of the more forward thinking companies out there but they can't produce a finished product and they have ALWAYS been that way.

  • Do yall think yalls new shotgun will be on the chopping block by the ATF? Since they will be banning the Saiga12.

  • @weiss27md

From what i heard they arnt banning the S12 its just a rumor that has got tons of people panic buying at extreme prices.

  • @weiss27md Well what the ATF is trying to do is only going to apply to imported guns. So since Kel-Tec is an American company and doesn't need to import anything, the KSG (Kel-Tec Shotgun) is exempt from that.

As for anything in the future, I think it will be fine. We aren't worried about it.

  • Keep doing these vids, i'm already waiting to buy another two guns from y'all because of em.!

  • @THEHOGZONE Thanks! There's a lot more videos planned!

  • you teasers, I held one of these last week that was on hold for someone else, so light, so sweet cant wait till mine comes home...

  • That lower rail would surely be handy for attaching a pistol scope/red dot. What about a 25 feet, benchrested test?

  • @TheHiddenPart Actually, mounting plates for the top of the slide are in the works right now. Currently there's two types of mounting plates to accommodate Docter and Burris red dot sights. They should be available very soon.

Maybe I'll do another video when the mounting plates become available at 25ft.

  • Good video, thanks. I just wish I could get my own PMR-30. Only one of the shops in my area has gotten any and I was told they literally don't make it into the display case before they're sold.

  • price?

  • @macoff12GT MSRP is $415, but due to supply and demand, sometimes they're being sold for $500-$700. Some people have said they got theirs for $300, and once we meet the demand you should find them more frequently in the $300 range.

  • nice gun, I would buy your KSG and RFB when i get burning money.

I heard some jamming problems but your kel-tec you can solve anything!

  • Very nice! I can't wait...oh, yes I can...it's been nearly a year since I ordered mine.

    :)

  • Nice video ! I am on line waiting ... Have you guy thought on PMR sub compact !!! HUM ? My Idea ! Do I get one ?

Great Products ! Kel Tec It makes feel proud to be a Floridian.

  • @TheTacticalDAD Thanks! Haha, sorry, no plans (yet) for a sub compact.

  • Is there a threaded barrel version planned? I could use a suppressed version of this for my nuisance wildlife control work. A very nice addition to the KelTec line of firearms!

  • @RanchoFiascoMike Yes there will be a threaded barrel available as an accessory and it will likely come with a type of flash suppressor. I was given an ETA of June/July.

  • @KelTecWeapons That will be great. Will anxiously wait for this. Thanks for building a great product at a very competitive price.

  • @shootcentermass HK sued the manufacturers of GSG, NOT Keltec.

  • can't wait to see them !

  • Awesome! Any word on the 22lr version?

  • Best job ever.

  • I think you guys should send me one for T&E ,i will give it rigorous testing .Ill even be nice enough to buy my own ammo for the tests ........this time

  • @shootcentermass Not sure how much longer it will be, but we are continually shipping around 400-500 a week. Hopefully not much longer.

HK didn't sue us. Which of their designs would the PMR-30 be infringing upon? That is just a rumor. The PMR-30 is based off the Grendel P30 which both were designed by George Kellgren.

  • @KelTecWeapons Hi is there any way, since bothe the p 30 and pmr 30 are Kellgren designs yall might consider making magazines for the old p30 grendel. My dad has one gr8 gun. but we cannot find mags anywhere. i have seen one mag for sale in a couple yrs of looking. It went for $110. online. Also what about the compensator flash hider looking thing on the prototype at shot show? thanks
