Mansfield High School - As night falls in the city ( T.O.C. 10-09-2010)

I went to the Tournament of Champions yesterday to support my brother and the band I graduated from, Rowlett, and I was so wowed by your show last night! I cheered more for it than I did my own band! It was very wow! I hope to see it on youtube soon!

Ya know, I'm just sick and tired of being screwed. We had such a good show at Area, and everybody there loved it. Hebron, and Haltom only go every year cause they have a name. Well it's time for a new "name" in marching band, Cause Mansfield HS is going to make state next year!

awww even though i left mansfield high in the 2nd semester i still will always remember being in this show and i loved it so much. I really had fun and will miss everyone .

I'm in the guard and granted we won the Texas state championship last year we definitely need the band...there were plenty of times where the guard didn't do so great and the band pulled us through so. I play the clarinet and I'm in guard and I can admit we need the band. Obviously you definitely haven't seen us perform because then you definitely wouldn't be saying that

I rly rly miss this show it was so fun :) but alot of work gah my legs were so sore after every show cause i actually ran in the show (im in guard), but yea i miss this :( i want to do this at least one more time, ha i remember during practice i got hit in the head with a flag and my head started to bleed gah i becamse so scared of some realeases >.< my favorite part of the show is 5:59 - the end :)

They definitely would've done very, very well at BOA. I think their show is better than L.D. Bell's, and their marching.

Mansfield sucks they only get high rankings be ause of thier color guard they wouldnt even make finals without there colour guard.

I think the term for this program is "marching band" they couldnt get anywhere without the band since its the whole point, true the guard is seriously awesome but im pretty sure when bands are being judged there is only one caption for guard so obviously they cant do all of it. Especially the marching and music sections, so the band MUST be doing something realllly right...just sayin'(and theres nothing wrong with using the guard to its full potential)

@OldChikity Alright, first of all. MHS is a very good music program. Not only is the colorguard ranked very high in the country, but they have been known to have a great Euphonium, Trombone, French Horn, Clarinet, and Saxaphone line. I would know, I came from MHS, as one of the top euphonium players there. The directors are very well-rounded and so are the students. So you may take your negativity elsewhere.
