  • If I was ever to move down south this would be the reason.

  • Ohhh yeeahh, dont let that juice flip in yo eye

  • any meat in the claws?????

  • do people outside louisiana even eat crayfish? I've always just assumed that we were the only ones.

  • @MrFrodo1066 I'm from Alabama and we have a big crawdaddy boil every season. I moved up North for college and nobody had ever even heard of a crawdaddy (OR a crawdad, crawfish or crayfish -- I tried). One of the many reasons I moved back here when I graduated. I have family in New Orleans, and we make a pretty darn good imitation in Alabama but nothin could be better than the crawdaddies I had in Louisiana! Y'all are doing it right.

  • Suck the head. Go "aw yeah" and don't let the juice get in your eye. That's what I learned.

  • Is the meat in the claws not worth cracking out?

  • do these taste like lobster ive never had one

  • @iceburg506 It's saltier, and spicier than lobster. Lobster really doesn't have taste (atleast when I've tried it)

  • @iceburg506 No they taste more like a cross between lobster and shrimp with the texture being slightly tougher than stir fried shrimp. But when they are boiled cajun style they take on a taste of their own, Its smokey and salty and savory and its an edible experience I live for. Here in Iowa you can find good a crawdaddy boil anywhere and that makes me sad cause my mama used to do that every summer, but if you get you a chance to try it, jump on it and relish it.

  • Ur video out of what, 200 more??? Made more sense the rest of those other videos... Sum girl was talking about eatting them the asian way, im american why i gotta learn to eat them the asian way?!!! The other dude b4 i watched ur video was pretty goo at explaining but he kept getting side tracted and he talked to much about other things... thanks pal :)

  • Well that was a waste of crawfish

  • drool drool drool

  • Ah come on you have to suck the head harder than that, you need to get everything out of it!

  • @sipasipafootbag

then u make a damn video, so we know how to do it properly!!

  • Holy shit! Ted Nuget!

  • sweet dude. we're having a crawfish boil today! but one question.. when you suck the head of the crawfish, do you get any meat or just juice?

  • Crawfest at Tulane University is TODAY! Free and open to the public!

  • dont let that juice get in your eye lmfao

  • rednex

  • separate the head, suck the head, pinch the tail bite and pull

  • cajuns are some of the coolest people in the world

  • Don't let that juice flip in your eye!

    LOL

  • @SuperDickweed rofllll!!!!!!!!

  • Man those was some big crawfish. Thanks.

  • i love mine with butter and lemon!

    YUMMMMMY!

  • THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! My mom and I are making itand since we are city people, we are clueless an you made it simple! :)

  • You Did that wrong Bud!

You Did Not Crush The Head While Sucking and You Did Not Pinch The Tail Popping The Meat Out

  • @NewOrleansTours, His way works for him, so who's to say its wrong? BTW, Don't let that juice flip in your eye!

  • @NewOrleansTours ---- gotta crush the heads.

  • see aaron, u suck the head, that came out wrong, but true

    =)

  • Just like with shrimp, I like to d-vein them first. Something about eating their guts and crap trail never made me go yum yum

  • No need to pick the tail apart, just take off the head, suck it, grab the meat with your teeth while squeezing the tail and the meat comes out in one motion. It should take no longer than 1/2 second to eat a crawfish.

  • @Cinderdan hey thats exactly how i eat mine. i think thats the fastest way.

  • Hey cool. I live in Utah. And Last week my family went to a lake, that we had never been to before...(we went jetskiing) and there were people fishing these out with Chicken legs! So we gave it a try, and cooked them. We got about 60 of them. We din't know how to eat them...but we got it right because thats how we ate them...

  • remember, us southerners call it craw dad's or craW fish. And/ Or the RED GOD!

    NOT "craYfish"

Thats how the yankee's say it.

  • Meh tell ya the truth, I from South Lousisana and have always called it crawfish. Ville Platte, La. is a big producer of crawfish for many many years.

  • damn that shit look good. its hard to get good crawfish here in atlanta. the ones here are half the size of louisiana crawfish. i try to make it down there once a year and pig out.

  • :)

now's the time to go! I still have people down there, and crawfish season is in full swing!!

  • thanks!

  • Ahhh Yes!!! Complete with belching after suckin the brains out of the head..lmao!
