I went to see Peter's performance just last week and he was very talented, too. But compare to this Kiril in the video he still has room to grow!! Peter is such a cute boy, too I hope new Billies can live on Billy Elliot's legacy!

I loved this show, but these kids winning Best Actor Tonys was just not right. Watching him sing, though his voice ok, he looks so afraid, and then he becomes a different person when dancing. He is a dancer not an actor, and unfortunately should not have been rewarded for being a good dancer. Bobby Spencer deserved to win, for his portrayal of Dan Goodman. Yes, dancing is an important part of musical theatre, but first and foremost is acting, and then singing, and these kids lack in those.

@WWEQAF I agree that foremost is acting at the tonys, and can't comment on who should've won as I've not seen bobby spencer, but I would like to point out that at this point of the show, Billy IS scared - scared that he'll loose his chance of getting to do the thing he loves, of having to go back where he came from. He's facing the judging panel, unsure of how to tell them of his feelings about dance.

@WWEQAF ... seriously? Too be they're dead but I'm sure the late and award winning great dancers Gene Kelly and Donald O'Connor would disagree with your assessment. To perform a lead role in a Broadway musical one needs to Dance, Sing and Act. And for you to say these "kids lack in those is simply puerile on your part.

Then you should think he did a good job, because he was so good he fooled you. The scene is supposed to portray a scared boy who becomes a different person when he dances. Maybe you should try listening to the lyrics. For example, "I suppose it's like forgetting, losing who you are, but at the same time, somehow makes you whole"

@soggyfroggy According to Wikipedia, Kiril was born on Feburary 16, 1994 in San Diego, CA and is now 16 years old. He'll be 17 in about 3 months.

OMG u r the most amazing boy dancer I evea saw. U r truly talented in dancing,singing,acting,and talking in an old time British accent. I saw Billy Elliot on feburary 19,2010 even though u didn't perform the show was amazing I saw it wit Trent kowalik but it was still amazing all the boys who played Billy were and are amazing

Kiril is in Aruba now, getting set for a couple of performances of The Nutcracker. He will also be doing a solo dance show. No 15 year old boy performs a solo dance show! Wrong, Kiril does! What talent!
