  • what kind of controller do you need do play this game on wii virtual console, please reply :)

  • I love the fact people think that there was just a new sword introduced to the game when in all actuality the 4th sword WAS in the original SNES version of this game :D

  • This ending is no where near as cool as the original version, neat though.

  • anyone who thinks this is a glitch:

it's not a glitch, this is after you defeat the real final boss

(the four swords, don't ask me its a fake or not)

  • I miss glitching up this game so badly

  • i just beat the four swords temple with the red armor and the yellow sword, with all heart pieces and it was tough as hell.for you to do it with the 1st green armor, the 1st weak master sword and only a few hearts you are a gaming god.

  • You missed out on some fun unlocking that dungeon. My cousin and I had a blast unlocked the four swords dungeon in this game.

  • @SSWakaOkamiInu how do you do that?

  • WHAT...WHAT THE HELL RED BOOMERANG!!???!!!

  • @Mofeisxxla,

That's what they called the Magical Boomerang back then. Weird, huh?

  • @crystalphoenixalpha1,

Oh, and before I forget, that name is ONLY for this game. More weirdness!

  • is there a way to go in the palace of the four swords with out glitching because that dumb weird monkey guy guarding it keeps taking my rubys

  • @4328jordan yes - you have to beat the four swords game for the monkey to go away

  • This game was my favorite as a kid! This brings back many memories...

  • how do u get back to the game after the the end screen?i push every button and nothing happen?

  • everyone's celebrating cause link is dead lol.

  • i killed mothula with a single spin attack (using lv 3 sword btw ._.)

  • @Epidemik8bit

    noob comment is noob.

    1) The last sword is the Golden Sword and it's not required to complete the game

    2) Read the description: "Of course, I did a mirror glitch to get into the 4 Sword Palace and completed it very early (before defeating Ganon and not requiring to do the 4 Swords Multiplayer game)"

So it means I didn't use the Super Bomb because I wasn't going to fight Ganon. BTW it's recently discovered that you can get the Silver Arrows and Golden sword without the Super Bomb.

  • @Greenalink how do you get those items without the super bomb?

  • @deejinatorgammalaser

    Glitches.

  • 6:14 if only there was a 3 in the middle of 1 and the other 3

  • 0:37 I hate those sons of bitches!

  • @JudgeTread1 ya me to when i was collecting rupees in the lost woods (din't have master sword yet) they kep steeling them

  • its not a hack or glich thay are hidden items like the bird you gets that helps you travel you use the flue next to taht bird statue in town and the quake and eather are obtanable in secret rune stones like in the desert and pearl tower thing place and the sovel you get from playing a mini game in the twillit realm<fail ect there other stuff like the inckanted item are from the hidden places like in the regular realm behind one of the water falls and when you blow up a spot on the pirimad

  • que alegria el juego dio un final

  • 2:36 woah that boss looks just like kracko from kirby.

  • hahaha, the thief tongues trying to steal from the fox thing in the dark forest. That was fucking hilarious.

  • haha lol Trinexx kills himself when hes bored :P

  • @thebutcher935 Maybe the other heads are *really* annoying and he just couldn't take it anymore? I could see them going on like the three headed guy in The Holy Grail.

  • Haven't really played A Link to the Past much. Could never get into it. I may go through it soon because from this video it looks like one of the best Zelda's.

  • I remember this ending... me and my friend legit stood outside for bout 3 hours one day wondering what was in there, then he bought himself a copy of the game,

and we beat 4swords (pretty easy) and i went into there one night, and owned

  • Someones hacking! Never used flute, quake, ether, or shovel.

  • @A1phaKn1ght

You mean glitching, no 3rd party devices were used to skip the flute, quake, ether and shovel.

  • @Greenalink Also, except for the flute, none of these items is actually required to beat the first part of the game (though you miss out a Heart Piece and several other goodies without the shovel)

  • @A1phaKn1ght

Stuff that i used 100s of times he used none.

  • @A1phaKn1ght nope its a glich

  • @A1phaKn1ght If you look at the playing time at the end...

  • @A1phaKn1ght Why do idiots like you plague youtube and twitter?

  • @LieutenantDoc1 kill them them selves to their final phase?

  • THREE eyeball bosses?

  • Level 1 Obama. Level 2 BP Oil Spill .Level 3 Ice Land Volcano .Level 4 Iraq. Level 5 Global Warming. Level 6 Hurricane Katrina. Level 7 Osama's House. Level 8 US Debt Ceiling.

  • @pspclansux Dark world, Level 1 Bush, Level 2 911, Level 3 Shoe bomber, Level 4 Ira, Level 5 Afghanistan, Level 6 Anthrax, Level 7 Katrina, Level 8 Raised debt ceiling, Level 8 Iraqi rejection, Level 9 Michelle Bachmann

  • Lol at never using the Magic Powder...but then again, who does?

  • @ravenousking19 I use it a lot in dungeons, just to get those Anti-Fairies out of my way. xD; Particularly in Ice Palace.

  • How do you get this ending?

  • @batursi

    Quote from description:

"This is the extra ending of Zelda A Link to the Past after completing the Palace of Four Sword (Extra dungeon on the GBA version)."

  • Well...what about on SNES?

  • @batursi

Read the very first annotation on this video.

  • I knew that. What I'm asking is then...HOW do u GET that ending on the SNES version

  • @batursi

    You can't.

It clearly says on the annotation, click here to see the "only" possible ending you can get on the SNES version.

  • OOOOOOHHHH......

So...is it...like a hack..? (Please don't be mad if I'm getting a little too confused...)

  • @batursi

    No hacks whatsoever.

It's pretty easy to understand really.

The video on here only exists on the Game Boy Advance Version.

The main ending is the one where pretty much every player who has played A Link to the Past (and completes it) exists on both Super Nintendo and Gameboy Advance.

  • Okay. :)

So you're saying that SNES has this ending, just not EXACT to how this ending is?

(Like the music basically being the same, but GBA uses different pictures, and notes at the bottom. (?))

  • @batursi

The SNES version does not have this ending (I said this 5 times now). Altough it has the same music, it uses different images (it shows the main characters, followed by staff credits and you can see that ending on the GBA version too),

  • @batursi wow your in the old games you can get this ending on the GBA version after completing the palace of four swords

  • You only saved once? Did you beat the game in like one sitting? lol

  • Kholdstare looks like kracko from kirby series

  • Why does this song sound a little like Final Fantasy?

  • FACT: I get a strange erection when looking at the Junk Yard Dog.

  • Trinex was my favorite boss next to Ganon

  • I'm sure I've seen this ending before and I've never owned a GBA or watched a video of the GBA ending before. Maybe it's possible on the PAL version or something because I have definitely gotten this ending before, and I've only ever played on the SNES. Really. I distinctly remember being confused as to why the boss was called 'Blind' when I thought he was meant to be a thief with a real name as mentioned by the NPC in where his dungeon would be in the light world.

  • WHY DIDNT IT EXPLAIN THE 4 SWORD LINK BOSS AT ENDING?!?!?! CMON!

  • this is the ending after you completed the true final palace:The Four Swords palace

  • wait a minute- how did you get to the bonus dungeon without using the medallions?

  • Comment removed

  • why doesnt anyone realize that you dont beat ganon for this ending. great vid. i love ALTTP. the GBA version was good too

  • What happens if you get 0 Games played at the end? Is that possible? I've always wanted to know what happens if your number at the end is 000 meaning you never die

  • @coyote7272 Nothing really happens. I already did it on the original SNES version, and all you really get is bragging rights for completing it in one straight sitting, without saving or dying once :p

  • @fatwrecked14

Fact: You don't need silver arrows to kill Ganon (look up on Tompa's ALTTP TAS).

Fact: I used a glitch to get into the Palace of Four Swords that leads to the extra ending (this video) without having to deal with Ganon anyway

tl:dr : This video is real.

yeah I'm the using the exact same comment I said to ballkirby.

  • if this music had lyrics, it could be called the hymn of hyrule

  • 1 hour and a half? i thought it was longer.

  • Who thinks they should make a wii remake of this? The remade Ocarina of Time for the 3DS.

  • @2020cody Ditto. I'd kill to see an official, 3-D remake of LttP on Wii.

It'd be the ultimate treat for us long-time Zelda Veterans.

  • how can i make the extra ending?

  • @Nightshokzz u dont make it, on the gameboy advance version the four sword is an avalible item, using the four sword gets the extra ending. (glitch required :(. )

  • It's too bad the ending in the SNES version takes a hundred years to finish, because this would have been cool to see for that version, too.

  • Lamp oil? Rope? Bombs? You want it? It's yours my friend, as long as you have enough ruppees.

  • so my only question is... how did u get the flute... without using the shovel???

  • Wow... the credit theme is really butchered in this version. When the drums finally kick in, the song ends a few seconds later. Way to screw up this music masterpiece.

  • there is no way he beat this game with those status the big bomb 0 times no way the only way to kill Ganon is the silver arrows and that where you blow that spot up with the big bomb and plus the play where you use the lighting orb thing 0 times for that no way you need that to open up the turtle rock so this is messed up here there is no way you beat this with those status

  • @ballkirby

Fact: You don't need silver arrows to kill Ganon (look up on Tompa's ALTTP TAS).

Fact: I used a glitch to get into the Palace of Four Swords that leads to the extra ending (this video) without having to deal with Ganon anyway

tl:dr : This video is real.

  • @Greenalink FACT: GBA version blows.

  • @RocmanRaz

FACT: GBA Version has more 'kickass' glitches than the SNES US/Jap v1.1 version :P

  • I'd love to play TLOZ IV swords for CG that'd be as awesome game Kolerik

  • @Greenalink FACT: Music and sounds sound better on the SNES version. You used an EMULATOR ACTION REPLAY CHEAT to get to the Palace of four swords. No GLITCH does it on the GBA alone.

  • @kdreamland

Fact: The second part of the comment is really dumb. I never use action replay. I got into the Palace of Four Sword by a glitch.

  • @RocmanRaz how? its the same.

  • @RocmanRaz Thats not a fact, but a personal opinion. Your opinion is that it 'blows'. My opinion is that it was pretty much almost the same as original. Just a few updated things and some additions but my opinion is also that by saying 'The GBA version blows' means 'The SNES version blows' as they are almost identical.

  • @ballkirby dude read the damn comments he explained it he glitched around

  • how did you get the flute without using the shovel?

  • What happen if you complete ALTTP and then the extra one?

  • theres a lot of secret in this game

  • awsomeness i will beat oot

  • [iminent=3R5QzlR59l2] snif....... sa me rapelle qand je jouer avec mon frere a sa trop bien voter tous bien PS:je le REcommande a [iminent=3PW2qAgUWfOB]

  • You know,I may only have the SNES version on VC,but I need to play this game again, since I've only played it once, and it was very challenging, indeed!Atleast much more challenging than Wind Waker, that's for sure!

  • i find all link games good ....

the only reason why i hate the wii is because it has the brawl game and smash game on it , and IT HAS LINK! : O

  • @MrJokelife Then why do you hate it?

  • @Spectermon i dont have a wii , i have a ps3!!

but i am willing to buy a mod chip for it or just buy the wii ...

  • @MrJokelife Oh,ok.

(Btw,while trying to press reply,I accidently pressed thumbs up,so I hope you're happy about that!

  • @Spectermon

slighty , wow what life i have ..

  • I finished zelda link to the past in 5 mins and 36 seconds :DD

  • So you cannot get the extra ending in the SNES version...?

  • @MasterDJT101

Negative. The SNES version is epic anyway bro

  • What! that big skull in the skull woods opens up :0

  • LOL I used to be so scared of the guy who kicks around the pink thing at 1:24

  • @Bazawlin LOL i remember that time for me too

  • No I definitely finished it two weeks ago and got this ending

  • I think that they should bring back the pyramid to the games today.

  • Best Zelda ending to date. Music fantastic as usual. Why can't they be this great now? Awesome.

  • lol, so this ending only shows what happened to the dark world? or give a brief summary of the dark world since many of those bosses should be dead by then. Never knew this ending exist until today :P

  • I guess the build quality of Hyrule was rubbish if Link needed to use the Magic Hammer!

  • @superkeenenbell

    Me too.

  • @superkeenenbell Without doubt

  • @superkeenenbell Way to use reverse psychology!

  • @superkeenenbell

OoT Was SO EPIC. But this tops it. The soundtrack.... The gameplay.... The Good memories....and the really HORRIBLE memories. I had so much trouble with dark world.

  • @superkeenenbell

I actually feel the same way! Without this game, OoT probably would NOT be where and what it is anyway.

  • @lynnvryett Neither would this game be where it is today without the original Zelda.

  • @superkeenenbell hahahahaha nope, turns out ur the highest rated comment :)

  • @superkeenenbell your not alone.

two reasons i liked this game better that OoT is becuse there are more dungeon and less boring managment between the action.

(OoT: sneaking into the castle to meet zelda for a map that will alow you access to goron city were you have to find the elder and play saria's song you learned by going back to kakori and the lost woods, etc...; Link to the past: beat dungeon, pick up a couple items at most, go to next dungeon.)

  • @superkeenenbell The most underrated are the best.

ALttP followed by MM and THEN OoT.

...Well, it's what I think at least XD

  • @thedudemonn Heh. I prefer Twilight Princess, then OoT, then LttP, then...I dunno, maybe MM. xP

I never really liked MM as much as most do...too much sidequest, not enough main quest. (Granted they made up for it in difficulty and length of dungeons, but I'd still have liked less sidequest. xP

Though I may be biased due to my hatred for the Great Bay Temple. >>

  • @superkeenenbell i like this game better than oot too!

  • @Thehunterpwn It's tough. Took me a week to beat Ganon in 1992. They just don't make games like they used to. Only games to really challenge me in recent times were the 2 PS2 Castlevanias.

  • ... on the Snes version I got into the Dark world without getting the Master Sword and I got the lvl 3 sword and it says that I got the Master Sword (which I did not... the truth is in the Lost Woods) anyways... this here is only veiwable on the GBA version... which I have beaten with ZERO deaths and only 1 save... yeah I don't really have much of a social life... and i have also glitched the game but have yet to figure out the Curse Glitch

  • I FUCKING HATED MOTHULA D:!!

  • Best Zelda ever made...oh and Koji Kondo is a fucking legend

  • could you use the mirror glitch after youve beten the game a just learned that you can do the mirror glitch?

  • i beat mothula under 10 seconds when i fell in the room, i just went behind it and rapidly shot my fire rod while he was shooting to the front, i got hit once by the spike =) xD

  • This reminded me how much more difficult the Alttp bosses are harder. I think the 3D games need more of this difficulty

  • Too get this lovely ending, use the mirror shield and peagus boots glitch.

  • I started playing this game at 5 on my gba, I lost the game at the airport, I bought a new one, and beat it in five years, I cried at the end. Such a good game. I miss my childhood...

  • @imnsg

crap... i just lost the game.

  • @imnsg Dude you have to be like 10 or 11 if you got it at 5 for the GBA... You still have your childhood.

  • Woah, did you really saved the game one time? Or did you used an emulator?

  • @RandyBlaze

    Emulator at the time :(.

It was made right after the Early Palace of Four Sword mini series.

  • @Greenalink You Dare to Pirate this Game ?

you shall Burn in the Pit with Ganon Mwrahahahahaha....!

  • Wait what? I understand that you used a glitch to get into the Palace early, but how did you get the Cane Of Somaria without ever using Ether?

  • @Algamyst

By using the very same glitch I used to enter the Palace of Four Sword.

  • Can this be done after defeating ganon? And what's the glitch to get in there?

  • I also like how you get to keep the shovel. But I'm not a fan of the control scheme/layout & I hate how Link yells every time he uses the sword or falls into a hole.

I also noticed other changes like a 3rd lumberjack, a new shop in the Village of Outcasts (that has pots surrounded by some objects that I can't get to), changes to that shop between the Pyramid & the Village of Outcasts, Like-Likes in the game, Ice Palace changes, and various other things.

  • Even though this ending isn't canon as far as the game's aftermath goes (since the Essence of the Triforce tells you that the Dark World reverts to the Golden Land rather than continuing to exist), I still like it very much. I recently got the GBA version of the game after having the SNES version for years and I tried to enter the 3rd hole in the Pyramid but some fox/thief takes my rupees & doesn't let me enter. I like the lightning effects on the Dark World version of Death Mountain.

  • 1:10

OMG DID YOU HEAR THAT? FINAL FINTASY 4 MUSIC(DS)

  • Okay, reading some of these comments I would assume some of you idiots would know about how this extra ending can only be seen on the GBA. It was not in the SNES version of the game. This ending is unlocked on the GBA link to the past by completing the Four Sword game that was included with it, then beating four bosses in the Four Sword dungeon. Finally you beat the four links from the Four Swords saga and assuming you were successful, you see this ending.

  • How do U get this ending on SNES, then?

(I mean... I read the description, but the palace of the Four Sword is here on the GBA version! Not on SNES...)

  • @batursi You can't, this ending only exists on the GBA version.

  • Then what about the annotation at the beginning, at the top?

When you click it, doesn't it show you... the-SNES-version?

(And if the SNES version isn't real, than how was it shown, and made?)

  • @batursi Yes, that video is from the SNES version. It's the default ending you get to see after defeating Ganon and collected the Triforce. The default ending can be seen on both SNES and GBA. This Extra ending is only viewable on the GBA version.

  • the music sounds like the beginning theme from Final Fantasy 4.

  • nossa... amo este jogo... viajei neste video...

  • aaah.

    my ear

  • Fake. You had to use some of those either bombos quake or ether to get into castles. fake video!

  • @mellieloveskyle LOL at you for failing to read the description.

    This video is real.

  • You also get a different 'the end' screen when you beat the game without saving on a link to the past. Everytime you beat ganon, it saves automatically and won't count against you.

You can get a secret 'the end' screen on link's awakening when you beat the game without dying. This happens also on OoT when you beat the game without dying.

  • lol i have this version, but im stupid and i dont know how to get this ending... but this is cool anyway! :P

  • I got this extra ending on the GBA remake... but I got completely different music for the Quest Log part of the ending. I don't know why I got different music. Every video I have have found of this ending just has the standard music....

  • I have beaten the SNES version loads of times and this is not the ending. It shows many of the people you've encountered, like the Flute Boy, Sahasrahla, the Wandering Man, the blacksmith guys who give you the Tempered Sword, etc. Then it shows you and your uncle, then the King, Zelda, and the other 6 maidens. It ends with the Master Sword being put back in the sacred grove and then it rolls credits against a reddish, blackish background similar to the background when you're on the pyramid.

  • @Arsenal0304 "I have beaten the SNES version loads of times and this is not the ending."

Read the description that tells you it's the GBA version. Derp.

  • @JesterMereel I read the description thank you very much. I was trying to back up the creator of the video who has to keep arguing with stupid people, not unlike yourself, who continue to argue that this is the ending on the SNES when it is not.

  • @Arsenal0304

"continue to argue that this is the ending on the SNES when it is not."

Oh wow are you dumb? Nobody is arguing that this is ending for the SNES, it's the GBA ending.

  • @JesterMereel Again you continue to make a fool of yourself by acting like a petulant child. I am fully aware that this is the GBA ending. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that in my posts. If you read other comments, besides my own, you will see that more than a few people have said that this is the SNES ending, when you, I, and several others know that it is not. Like I said, I was defending the creator of the video against those who suggested otherwise. Stop trolling, get a life.

  • Would you guys consider this better than the original? While I had a Nintendo and Super Nintendo (and gameboy) when they first came out I never played Zelda. I only played Twilight (which was great, but long as hell) and some of the Windwaker but didn't finish it (rental). Which one would you guys recommend I play from the look-down/ 2d. or should I play ocarina?

  • @DontReplytoComment Well, they're all great, but starting with Twilight Princess isnt the greatest it just seems like a weird starting point. Play them all, thats my advice.

  • @DontReplytoComment You consider Twilight long? You must not play many RPGs.

  • this just made me cry i swear to u =[=[=[

  • This is not from the SNES version i never had seen this ending so SHUT UP AND ODNT SAY I SAW THIS ON SNES

IT cant be... I never had seen it

  • I got an other ending music... can that be because I played out the game and then beat the temple of the 4 swords?

  • Kholdstare looks like Kracko from Kirby, just not the ice around him

  • 4:45 you beat the game without using the flute once? That's impossible

  • @chopseh Mirror Glich, read description

  • HOW DID HE GET A KILL WITH THE BOOK?? LOL

  • he is right. the snes version only had the light world cast.
