I think if you saw these celebs in real life, you probably would have a heart attack. Images can be manipulated with the computer and make them look less horrible. But reality bites. I have seen plastic surgery on real people and they looked awful and absolutely disfigured. I think it becomes an addiction, where one change is not enough anymore. When I look at Nicole Kidman, or Michael Douglas I want to puke. They look like puppets from Mme Tusseau!!

Come on, the majority look brilliant now. What's wrong with doing all you can to look good. Looking good isn't all about impressing other people, it's also about feeling good yourself and, don't forget, fulfilling other peoples expectations of us. These people's livelihoods are partly based on looking good, aren't they entitled to try and prolong this? Think it's sour grapes on your part.
Most actresses know they can't change the system. It's the same deal in the modeling industry. You work for a certain amount of time when your young, then you go behind the scene (where the real money is at) and do more work with producing, writing, distributing films, etc. and move away from the camera. Not a very good video. Comparing sex symbols in their prime (20-30yrs) to when they are 45-70 yrs old isnt bad surgery..its simply aging (and health deterioration over 65yrs)! Yes obvious surgurys like MJ went terribly wrong but please dont make age a disfigurment, its just normal to not look like you did at 15yrs old or 30yrs as when you are 65.

I look at some of these actors that are in their sixties or seventies and can say it's not for me, but you clearly know who they are. That's stardom. They take on a cartoon face to maintain the fame.

You are absolutely right that the compared pictures are pretty old vs. pretty new, the problem, however, is that they are aging as you say, but you can't see it.. And that is BAD plastic surgery. It is obvious that especially the US movie/tv industry is ruthless with aging women and it is understandable that actresses are willing to compromise. Unfortunately the results are awful in the long run. Too bad: in The USA they should take an example to a country like France where there are many great older female actresses (Isabelle Huppert, CatherineDeneuve, etc) who still play interesting parts.

I do care how I look. I exercise, eat right and am well groomed. I wear makeup but don't go overboard. Also, I ALWAYS wear sunscreen. I am just not afraid to age. The older women in my family are thin and attractive. You should see my 74 year old grandmother. I've never seen her without makeup, jewelry, high heels and a stylish outfit. If her boobs sag, no one would know because she probably wears a push up bra. If she has wrinkles,
