One of the main factors of why their second marriages(in paul's case first) worked so well was because the buzz had died down a bit by then. Another part was because their second loves were more planned and thought out. In the long run yes, they did love them, but it was the kind of love you have when you look back at an ex you used to think the world of, its different.

@chumon1992 maybe you're right but I'm not sure, because they sometimes look a bit surprised and hesitant, and they truly seem to be talking directly to the person who asked... It might be just the way they did the video editing, probably for taking off useless or uninteresting things, that makes it look a bit strange, we mustn't forget it was during the 60's!! But anyway, it doesn't really matter, it's still a great video however they realized it :)

@SarahAngelx To an extent, they were in love but the relationships were very strained because of the crazyness of beatlemania. One of the main factors of why their second marriages(in paul's case first) worked so well was because the buzz had died down a bit by then. Another part was because their second loves were more planned and thought out. In the long run yes, they did love them, but it was the kind of love you have when you look back at an ex you used to think the world of, its different.

@Lubbylove89 observer9670 is actually quite right. Paul was very much in love with Linda and didn't have any problem marrying her when she told him she was pregnant, he wanted to settle down. I don't know about Pattie Boyd, but the rest of the stories are true.

@itsbridgetlogann That's true. Paul has said he had convince Linda that they should get married. She'd been married before and was reluctant, even if she was pregnant. Patti moved in with George in late 1964. But by the end of 1965, she gave him an ultimatum - marry her or she's gone. They were married in early 1966.

@observer9670 Ringo was married because Maureen badgered him about it, She was pregnant after that. John was married because of pregnancy, Pattie was actually more hesitant than George, She recounts in her book when George asked and he asked a few times. She was far to shy to give ultimatums. In fact a great portion of why they split was because she was to self conscious to come to George with her feelings about things and let them stew until she couldn't take it anymore. Lack of communication.

@boucledor1671018 well, the way this is edited it looks like they recorded the questions then played them for the boys and recorded their responses then put them together, otherwise there would be a great deal more chaos, I do agree though, that is a terrible question.

@chumon1992 maybe you're right but I'm not sure, because they sometimes look a bit surprised and hesitant, and they truly seem to be talking directly to the person who asked... It might be just the way they did the video editing, probably for taking off useless or uninteresting things, that makes it look a bit strange, we mustn't forget it was during the 60's!! But anyway, it doesn't really matter, it's still a great video however they realized it :)

@jias188 That was the main reason, I do think that if Julian had come at a later date when the mania had died down they could have lasted, but the strain was too great on both Cynthia and John.
