Bush is much smarter then people give him credit for. He managed to forge the most profound foreign policy since the Truman doctrine. Love him or hate him, Bush has had more of an impact on American society then most other Presidents preceding him. Popularity does not make a president great. Lincoln, Reagon, FDR, Bush, etc... were all highly unpopular and even hated by many Americans throughout their presidencies.

@luckymckay21 Sounds here like you're confusing Obama with Bush. If that's the case, then I totally agree. To quote you: "[Obama] has forged the most profound foreign policy since the Truman doctrine. Love him or hate him, [Obama] has had more of an impact on American society then most other Presidents preceding him. Popularity does not make a president great. @luckymckay21 how did he have a great impact on society? He hiked the deficit to $9 TRILLION, started two wars to which there was no exit strategy. Lied to the American people about why we went to those countries in the first place. Gave tax breaks to the rich thinking somehow trickle down economics really works. And extended the power of the Executive Branch to an unprecedented level.
But all of these Presidents, excluding Bush for the time being, are viewed as some of our nations greatest Presidents. In time, Bush's actions will be seen as heroic if Iraq succeeds and serves as a beacon of Democracy in a region determined to destroy everything non-Muslim.
Hahaha. His ear bud fell out, no one to tell him what to say.
