ave you thought of attaching simple hang-glider wing to your recumbent bike, some propeller at front and ditching heavy bike wheels and front steering for something light, and have a go at flying?
Wow very cool! Are you normally that fast or was this a test of speed? At what speeds does one cruise with a recumbent?....thinking of buying a used one myself (have my eye on an optima condor)
So I imagine that the recumbant bikes are more comfortable but how are they as far as speed goes. I imagine it screams down hills but uphills must be near impossible. Also, the tires usually aren't the full 26' or 700. BTW, the 75 km/h is extremely impressive.
@HeyImKli4d the recumbants have alot less wind resistance because of the position of the rider..so, you can get more speed with them..don't know about uphill problems tho.
@HeyImKli4d Most modern production recumbents handle hills just fine. I can't speak for the M5 as I've not owned one but it's spoken of well and being a very light bike that counts for a lot when the road gets steeper.
Full size wheels on my m5 (700c). It also came with a 650c wheel and front fork. With the 650c, the overall wt of the bike is lighter than with the 700c. This bike can scream down hill very fast. max speed I have achieved on the bike was 85km/hr. It could go faster but I chickened out.
I ride a Velokraft VK2 in the Santa Cruz mountain where it is only about hard core climbing, and I can assure you that recumbent can climb quite well and without limitation once your legs are retrained, though your speed will always be slower than on a DF , I estimate my speed uphill to 90% of what I would get on a DF. I can climn Mt Hamilton here with 1500 metres of ascend in 1Hr43mn

Are you nearly illiterate? You write like you're bordering on illiteracy. Are you? I think you are. You're a bit of a joke.

It's all about conditioning the legs.
