A lot of people bash Sarah Chalke in her role as Becky. Although I'll agree Lecy Goranson playing the role of Becky is a hard job to replace, I think Sarah fills the shoes quite nicely. The only thing she lacks is the attitude, shes like a cleaned up version of Becky.

I remember when david first appeared on roseanne. But his name was kevin, whats up with that?

@veteranmode the character was written as David but there is a union rule about playing two characters with the same name. He was already appearing in another show where he was named David. The roll ended before they filmed the second or third episode where he appears in Roseanne so they went back to David and then worked in that joke later about changing the name (i read that was actually an ad lib)
