i don't think a glider could destroy too easy a mig or an f22, it doesn't have missiles just phasers, and it's so hard to hit a modern aircraft, gliders have no chance, i believe that's why the x-303 has missiles...

Try reading the credits sometime. Those were X-301's.  You know, the same fighter that was composed of a couple of wrecked death gliders, and some airforce stickers. The very same one that Jack and Teal'C got stuck in as it slowly flew back to Chu'Lac, because Apophis activated a recall device.

At the time Ed Giddings made this animation (2001), the F-302 didn't get any screen time until a year afterward.

Well im no expert but i do love learning about the new jets coming out so i guess i am a little obsessed. I dont know how fast it can reach zero but I do know it can go supersonic and has stealth capabilities. It also is being made with three variants in landing and takeoff for the airforce, marines , and navy.

they talked about it in 1 of the early sg1 episodes. they took sidewinder missiles gave them a nuclear payload, and then added a divice that makes some kind of field around the missile that lets it pass right through goauld sheilds. ill find that episode and post it here.
