Thats not a mess up. Pixar usally puts charcters from their other films into their movies. Did no one notice the Boo's Jessie doll in Monters Inc?

Pixir puts things from other movies they've made into movies it's called an easter egg. So it's not a movie mistake if they do it on purpose.
