As a through-and-through, born and raised in, Washingtonian, bands such as Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden are the only true Grunge bands to me. Other bands, such as STP, wrote grungy songs in the 90's, but not like the Seattle Sound bands...Mother Love Bone, Malfunkshun, Skin Yard...and Temple of the Dog...great bands
