I got the complete makeup kit. Love the shadows but not crazy about the blush at all. I am pale (NW20 in MAC) and they just don't work for me. Shadows are great though, very pigmented and pretty.

I just got my full size/complete kit in Pink! Upon opening the packaging there is a "paint" smell (from the brush handles) so I'm guessing they are pretty new since they still have that smell. They weren't still wet or anything. In addition to the free travel SS217 brush they sent me an eyeshadow in "Indian Girl" but it isn't like the kind in the palette. It's a circle w/a screw-on lid instead of being square. I was super excited about it because who doesn't love free stuff?!

It looks like they raised their prices on the brush kits. Didn't it used to be 79$ for the brush kit + brush roll? :-( And you can't order the Complete Brush kit without the brush roll anymore. It's still a really good deal for great brushes though.

sometimes i do feel that gurus tend to favor companies that send them free products and such and i wont name names... but a guru did revies coastal scents gel liners and honestly most of them are more useful as an eyeshadow base rather than a gel liner as they recommend.... anywho thx for ur honesty.

I'd agree with the fact that these are VERY glittery and they do have a fair amount of fallout, but the colors (I purchased the neutrals and the smokeys) are gorgeous! I have to add that I was disappointed in the palette finish. The black finish on both the plastic quads and the smalls is scuffed and distressed in places right out of the box which gives them a "cheaper" look. The popout single/quad concept and the color payoff are their selling point and overall I'm happy with this purchase.
