I am a jiu-jitsu brown belt, and a black belt in tae-kwon-do. These martial arts are both amazing, and together its even more amazing and effective. For the last 6 weeks i have been starting to train my thai boxing at the local gym, and i find it to be as effective as jiu-jistu and taekwondo put together. Thai is unbelieveable, and you should all take this martial art up.

uh....Its Thai boxing and it basically makes you the number 1 street fighter. Its as much a martial art as it is the ability to focus ones power into a solid movement like a simple punch or knee. Jaa is a badass and him and Bruce should fight while chuck noris refs and the ring should be made from the skin of that fake ass Jean Claud VanDam. Thai boxing is kick ass but i dont think it could really be much against jeet kun do (lees style). Better yet.....lets bust out some iron fist!!!!!

Well like i said....the thai boxing isnt so much a style as it is a way of movement. Its weird but i got into it because the movements are really close to what a person in panick would do (throw knees and elbows in close range) and everyone of them hit and caused pain. I like pain. Bruce lee could kill anyone with a 2 inch punch but since hes dead i advise training with muay thai...... It turns ur body into a tank for punishment and a sniper rifle with pin point stikes.

If you want to take advantage of the stikes i would tell you to do plyometrics at least 3 times a week. Makes you much faster than you would look and also much more limber (you will be able to hit a guy in the face with your knee while standing in place) Pluss anyone with a small knowledge of martial arts will tell you that stretching will allow for longer and stronger muscle growth (STRETCH BEFORE AND AFTER PRACTICE EVERY DAY!!!!!!!!) i could kick a guy behind me without even turning around.lol
