Ive using a t touch 4years now,mine broke down 2 years ago,but i suspect it was caused by my job,,see im a welder,n i think electric shocks dont go well with a t touch,,,best watch ever!!!!

Great watch until the various touch functions start failing one by one. Altimeter and Thermo are the only functions still selectable. All the others are inoperative.

Battery is less than one year old. I would not recommend this watch.

On the positive side, it is VERY accurate. It gains about 1 second per month.

these watches are massed produced and are not completely made by hand, there are bound to be some bad ones out there just like with a car, this is an earlier model and i heard that the touch expert has fixed the bugs of previous models

I'm about to buy a T-Touch or T-Touch Expert watch.

If anything will go wrong I'll simply take it to the nearest watchmaker... lol

Also my father-in-law is a representative for Tissot in my country... so I really shouldn't have any problems.

the menu already told you guys cannot put in electric items or magnetic items together..might be cause the problem like that..many function in a watch is already cheap . or u can buy a rolex without any function but just jewel..sure very reliable . lol

it is the worst watch i ever had or saw.

half of its time was on the service center and finlay they wanted to exchange the whole internal machine and want me to pay USD 200 , i refused and i threw it away.

one more problem about its Bracelet its keep leaving black stains in my hand when my hand swet on it

i have my old pre-2005 t-touch bout 6 years, perfect condition. except that i sometimes forget to clean it :P

i had exactly the same problem. You need to shake out the water from the sensors and it should do fine again. worked for me. Greetz

I bought my t-touch in 2003, it still works fine and I even haven't replaced the battery... I can't believe that Tissot isn't customer friendly?

never said Tissot isn't customer friendly, BUT...in two years 3 times in assistence, (and every time 2-3 mounths) ....my old casio pro-trek run better .. and cost 1/3

got the same problem here, but mine got stuck on the chrono.... not a very reliable watch, plus very expensive... will tell you about the tissot costumer service answer...

last repair in sept 09. Tissot office (swatch group) in MIlano, italy, has passed the repair under warranty..no money spent...

i think that ur watch didnt start doing that by it self coz i had the same problem after it fell from abt 2 meter hight , or u place it near a magnet :)

I have owned two T-touch watches. The original in stainless and the T-touch Trekking in titanium. My original is still working after 5 years without even a new battery, and my Trekking has been working for 2 years. I do not work in an office, I work with heavy equipment and I have beaten both of these watches up in my line of work. I think Tissot makes a fine and durable watch.

try hold the middle button mine had the same prob but that fixed it.

my t-touch in under warranty until dec 08 (bought in dec 06), but this is the third time that breaks!! I do not think they will make a durable repair

My T-Touch looks to be the same model as yours and it has recently started malfunctioning too.  Tissot wants $350 to repair it!

I wonder... were you able to get yours fixed?
