Our community orchestra, the Central Lakes Symphony Orchestra, is playing two movements out of Church Windows--and coincidentally, our music was previously used by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. And I would just like to say that they had the most obnoxious markings for bowings and positions; however, it's obviously justified since they play this beautifully, but I just find it interesting.

I have the Minneapolis Symphony cover of this on a Mercury "Living Presence" L.P. When you listen to the whole thing it is very dynamic. From soft to very loud at one point.
