And anyway, these "peace talks" between Israel and Syria are fake, Syria is using them as a delay tactic to wait until Bush is out of office. They hope that the next U.S. president isn't a stooge for Israel. Bush doesn't want Israel to attack Iran because we are going to do it for them.

It isn't that simple, there could be some negative consequences to the U.S. attacking Iran such as Hezbollah in Lebanon firing 30,000 rockets at Israel. If Tel Aviv takes a major hit it would negatively impact the already struggling U.S. stock market. Are you sure you want to take that risk?

I contend there will not be any attacks on Iran. At least not anytime soon and it certainly won't be Bush. If it does happen, it will be sometime in the future and it will be because diplomacy didn't work. I certainly don't think there is some insidious plot by Israel behind this. There are too many countries that can't stand Israel that don't want Iran to get nukes. Like Sunni Arab nations such as Saudi Arabia.
