@ccamedia The point I was hoping to address was the relationship to our heavenly Father rather than earthly one. So the animation (and the song) are applying to the girl's (and all of our) rejection of God - and how He has made a way for us to be brought home as His children, not the rebellious enemies that we naturally choose to be. So - I don't know if she was necessarily brought up in a christian home, I guess that can be up to your interpretation.
