too bad, most kids over here my age just wanna play there favorite rock song on their drums lol. ive noticed, no rascism intended lol. white drummers over there are more into gospel,funk,fusion,jazz,latin,­etc. and thats where its really at! :)

Its the same over here mate. Nothing but wall to wall rock bands who all sound the same. Very uninspiring.

I'm the only drummer I know (besides my teacher) that likes anything but rock. Nothing against rock but it just does not move me most of the time. I'd rather hear more soul and virtuosity!
