I have no car and im 28 and I need my license, my parents are divorced and used to fight all the time, my dad almost shot mom with a revolver once because a fight got so bad. I was beat up in school constantly and never graduated so yes, I'd say it's difficult being me. I envy anyone with Downs Syndrome, for they are the most loved. My life is rubbish and there is no way to change it, I am damaged goods.

I'm Autistic. I know how it feels to be put down for being different. Only an ignorant ass-face would put down someone who is disabled. Do you think that any disabled person wants to be this way? Do you think Julie, and I woke up one day and decided to have disabilities? No, we were born this way. To those, who have been saying hateful things, think about what you're saying. Put yourself in somebody else's shoes. Would you want someone to do this to you?

Based on the way you wrote your post, you seem much smarter than most of the nasty "normal" people on here. Julie, you are correct sweety! My belief is that children with downs syndrome and other disabilities are angels sent to earth to teach us love , tolerance, and respect for mankind. Unfortunately, we have failed miserably! Obviously, by the comments of some we are still continuing to fail. You are a very beautiful and articulate young lady..NEVER let the ignorant, pathetically moronic idiots of this world ever tell you differently.

Beautiful! I hope my daughter is as sweet as Julie is when she grows up. She's 11 now. She has down syndrome and is my purest joy. I can't imagine life without her. Thank you, Julie for your beautiful story. Love you!

Julie, I hope you did not think that I was critical of you in any way. My ten year old daughter Mariah is Down syndrome and I am very offended by some of these boneheads on You Tube who insult people with Down syndrome or any other disability for that matter. Unfortunately, there are ignorant, insensitive people in this world who enjoy degrading others to make themselves feel superior. Julie, keep doing what you are doing, you are accomplishing wonderful things.

every time i watch Downs Syndrome kids or grown-ups talking it makes me cry ... they have so much fun with there lives that they dont even have a thought in there minds about haveing Downs Syndrome.. I had a friend named Akaysha and at first i wanted to be her friend because i fealt sorry for her but when we started to hang out she tought me so much about being a better person and she made me so happy, and i did not fill sorry for her any more because she is just like me and you . love BECCABOO
